i.Scribe is a small and fast email client supporting SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4, and comes with an accurate Bayesian spam filter. It also protects you from the usual security holes in other email clients with it's own virus safe HTML control and executable attachment lockout. i.Scribe is actually the free version of the commercial product InScribe, so it supports only one email account and one user-defined filter.

This allows the user to export any objects to the file system without resorting to drag and drop. Which isn't working very well on Mac or Linux at the moment. At least there is a workable option now. Multi-select of any list item works by selecting an output folder.

Mit FossaMail haben die Macher von PaleMoon ein auf Thunderbird aufgesetztes Mailprogramm erstellt, welches als 32- und 64-bit Version zur Verfügung steht. Sollte Thunderbird bereits verwendet werden, wird von FossaMail das existierende Profil genutzt, so das man sich mit der Einrichtung nicht aufhalten muss.

hide_timezone', a new hidden preference that sets the timezone of date fields sent over the network tthe unknown timezone value as specified in RFC 5322 §3.3. Default value is false (i.e., send available timezone information).
rewrite_first_from', a new hidden preference which works around a limitation of some servers with 'overly-liberal parsers'. When this is turned on and the Content-Transfer-Encoding is set t8bit or 7bit, in a message body starting with 'From ' the 'From ' will become '=46rom ' (i,e, encoded form of 'F') and the Content-
Transfer-Encoding will be changed tQuoted-Printable. When it is turned off nsuch modification will be made but it is very likely that an MTA will convert the 'From ' t'>From '. See RFC 4155 for further details. Default value is '1', turned on.
Templates: it is now possible tattach a file, using attach_output{sub_expr}' or '|A{sub_expr}', 'sub_expr' is evaluated as a command-line tget the filename name from, using an absolute /path/to/filename.
IMAP mailboxes which show subscribed folders only are now indicated by a green folder icon.
The Icon Legend has had the missing folder icons added and alshas an improved layout.
Drafted messages: Dnot add Message-ID for draft, unless the message already has one. A Message-ID header is now only added when queuing a message, and any existing Message-ID and References headers in drafts, if there are any, are kept.
Disable hiding threads and messages in draft folders.
The /View/Gto/... actions now respect the 'Open message when selected' option.
In the UI 'POP' is used instead of 'POP3', 'IMAP' instead of IMAP4', 'SSL/TLS' instead of 'SSL'.
GnuTLS: Enforce "strong enough" Diffie-Hellman prime even when using older versions of GnuTLS library.
Since GnuTLS 3.1.7, this minimum size is dictated by the priority string, and currently (GnuTLS 3.3.0) the "safe-enough" value is 1008 bits. We set this minimum size explicitly for older GnuTLS versions.
Users whare affected by this (their servers use DH prime smaller than 1008 bits) can override this by using a priority string starting with the keyword "LEGACY". However, this keyword only works with GnuTLS 3.3.0 or newer.
RSSyl plugin: Enable keeping old items by default.
vCalendar plugin: The ics file name is now used for the WebCal subscription folder name.
vCalendar plugin: Use hours/minutes for vcalendar alert time.

OutlookAttachView scans all messages stored in your Outlook, and displays the list of all attached files that it finds. You can easily select one or more attachments and save all of them into the desired folder, as well as you can delete unwanted large attachments that take too much disk space in your mailbox. You can also save the list of attachments into xml/html/text/csv file.

Mit Supermailer hat man die Möglichkeit, personalisierte Serienmails im Text-, oder HTML-Format (mit WYSIWYG-Editor) zu erstellen. Die Empfänger können aus verschiedenen Quellen importiert werden (z.B. Outlook, SQL-Dateinbanken, Dateien).

OutlookStatView scans your Outlook mailbox, and display a general statistics about the users that you communicate via emails. For each user/email, the following information is displayed: The number of outgoing messages that you sent to the user (separated by to/cc/bcc), the number of incoming message that the user sent to you, the total size of messages sent by the user, the email client software used by this user, and the time range that you send/received emails with the specified user.

A 64-bit version (only for use with Outlook 2010 64-bit) is available.

Fixed setting the colour in an IMAP mail window's fields tab changing the message content. It now behaves the same way as the context menu way of doing it.
Fixed the fetching of IMAP mail that includes NULL characters in the body. e.g. flate encoded attachments. Previously it would hang the IMAP thread (not the whole app).
Fixed moving email between separate mail3 stores. The reference to the email is now removed from the source folder correctly.
Made a cross mail store "move" operation (which is really a copy + delete) to delete the old object completely instead of moving it to the trash. This makes for a more logical user experience. The software does allow for errors in the "copy" part of the operation to block the "delete" part (so worst case you end up with 2 copies). Even if the "copy" is delayed (like when writing to an IMAP store)
Replies to email now get saved to the Outbox of the mail store attached to the "From" address.
Email sent from the Outbox of the non-default folder now gets moved to the local Sent folder.
Fixed a crash in the display of the "To" field in the main window mail list when there are lots of addresses (and just the right number of bytes).
