i.Scribe is a small and fast email client supporting SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4, and comes with an accurate Bayesian spam filter. It also protects you from the usual security holes in other email clients with it's own virus safe HTML control and executable attachment lockout. i.Scribe is actually the free version of the commercial product InScribe, so it supports only one email account and one user-defined filter.

Mailspring is an easy-to-use cross-platform IMAP email client.

It uses a new C++ sync engine based on Mailcore2 and utilizes roughly half the RAM and CPU of other email clients. It idles with almost zero "CPU Wakes", translating to great battery life when used on a laptop.

Mailspring is built on the modern web with Electron, React, and Flux. It is designed to be extensible, allowing you to create new experiences and workflows around email. Mailspring comes packed with useful features like a Unified Inbox, Snooze, Send Later, Mail Rules, Templates and more. There is a Pro version (monthly subscription) which adds more features for users who send numerous email like link tracking, mailbox analytics, read receipts, contact and company profiles, etc. All of these features run on the client and it will not send your email credentials to the cloud.

The calendar object gets pinned to your desktop and stays there all the time in plain sight so you can always see what's upcoming.     Important Notes:

    If you had the 64-bit version installed, when upgrading, it will reset your OotD settings to the defaults.
    To get a single installer to work, and in particular, to detect the bitness of Office, the minimum supported version had to be bumped to Office 2010 (from 2003).

Uses .NET Framework 4.7.1 for additional performance and HiDPI improvements.
