You can easily select one or more attachments and save all of them into the desired folder, as well as you can delete unwanted large attachments that take too much disk space in your mailbox. MailCheck überprüft eine beliebige Anzahl an POP3-Postfächern auf neu eingetroffene Emails. Bei Neuzugängen in der Inbox schlägt die Freeware optisch und auf Wunsch auch akustisch Alarm.

MailCheck zeigt den Anwendern zudem eine Vorschau der elektronischen Post an. Anhand dieses Previews kann man Spam und andere unerwünschte Nachrichten direkt vom Server entfernen. Außerdem startet man bei Bedarf ein frei wählbares Mailprogramm.

Da die Vorschau von MailCheck nur reinen Text darstellt, läuft man hier keine Gefahr, versehentlich Schadprogramm wie Viren oder Dialer zu aktivieren. Praktischerweise läuft das kostenlose Mailprogramm auch ohne Installation von USB-Sticks aus.

The name comes from the .N2K file extension Outlook saves this email list to.

Phoenix Mail 2003 ist ein kleiner eMail-Client welches unter anderem folgende Funktionen bietet:

- Mehrere Postfächer möglich
- Mehrere Ordner pro Postfach
- Signaturenmanager
- Backupfunktion
- Anlagen werden gezippt
- Ein Virenscanner kann eingebunden werden
- AutoUpdate
- Mails können vor dem Runterladen überprüft und ggf. gleich auf dem Server gelöscht werden.

Das erstellen von HTML-Mails wird nicht unterstützt, solche Mails können aber trotzdem gelesen werden.

Durch Plugins kann Phoenix erweitert werden.
