GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google GMail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your GMail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. GMail Drive literally adds a new drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create new folders, copy and drag'n'drop files to.

MailCheck überprüft eine beliebige Anzahl an POP3-Postfächern auf neu eingetroffene Emails. Bei Neuzugängen in der Inbox schlägt die Freeware optisch und auf Wunsch auch akustisch Alarm.

MailCheck zeigt den Anwendern zudem eine Vorschau der elektronischen Post an. Anhand dieses Previews kann man Spam und andere unerwünschte Nachrichten direkt vom Server entfernen. Außerdem startet man bei Bedarf ein frei wählbares Mailprogramm.

Da die Vorschau von MailCheck nur reinen Text darstellt, läuft man hier keine Gefahr, versehentlich Schadprogramm wie Viren oder Dialer zu aktivieren. Praktischerweise läuft das kostenlose Mailprogramm auch ohne Installation von USB-Sticks aus.

Auto-complete is a useful feature to automatically suggest items based on the first few letters of the recipient, but over time can gather invalid or unwanted contacts. The name comes from the .N2K file extension Outlook saves this email list to.

Mit der Freeware bekommt man eine tabellarische Übersicht der Mails inkl. der Betreffzeile. Hier kann man dann meist schon entscheiden, welche Mails gelöscht werden können.
Will man etwas mehr Informationen haben, so kann man die ersten 1000 Zeichen der Mail anzeigen lassen.
Damit wird der Mail-Header und der erste Teil der Mail angezeigt. Die eingetragenen Zugangsdaten werden vom Programm so lange gespeichert, bis neue eingegeben werden.
