OutlookAttachView scans all messages stored in your Outlook, and displays the list of all attached files that it finds. You can easily select one or more attachments and save all of them into the desired folder, as well as you can delete unwanted large attachments that take too much disk space in your mailbox. You can also save the list of attachments into xml/html/text/csv file.

i.Scribe is a small and fast email client supporting SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4, and comes with an accurate Bayesian spam filter. It also protects you from the usual security holes in other email clients with it's own virus safe HTML control and executable attachment lockout. i.Scribe is actually the free version of the commercial product InScribe, so it supports only one email account and one user-defined filter.

    [Linux] Added 'run-scribe' script to the install due to Ubuntu not being able to open the main executable via double click. I have no words.
    Converted all the image resources to PNG and fixed the various places they are referenced in the code. The language selection dialog flags was one place this was causing issues.

    The IMAP processing of incoming mail now ignores the "Recent" flag from the server when evaluating if the mail is "new". This allows the filters to run on unread mail that isn't in the local database. If you have multiple email clients reading the same inbox only one of them gets the "Recent" flag.

It also comes with a WYSIWIG tool to compose nice looking HTML emails from templates or scratch. The program also offers filter options, allowing you to act upon incoming mail that meets certain criteria - you can delete messages, forward them, auto-respond to them and more based on keywords appearing in the subject, address, text etc. The Express Send feature enables you to send mail directly to the recipient, using the built in SMTP server, thereby bypassing your ISP. Phalanx ist ein leistungsstarker Spam-Filter für POP3-Konten, der unabhängig vom eingesetzten Mailprogramm arbeiten kann. Phalanx unterstützt bei der Anmeldung am Mailserver APOP (MD5) und sichere Verbindungen (SSL).

Features:

Black- und Whitelisten

    Mit einer Black-Liste können Nachrichten an Hand ihres Absenders eindeutig als Spam eingestuft werden. Mit einer White-Liste und einer Adressliste für Mailinglisten (Empfänger) können E-Mails als Ham kassifiziert werden. Für alle drei Arten können zusätzliche externe Dateien eingebunden werden.

DNSBL-Filter

    Durch die Anfrage bei DNS-Blacklist-Servern können Nachrichten von spamversendenden Computern auf Grund ihrer IP-Adresse als Spam eingestuft werden.

URLBL-Filter

    Die in einer Nachricht enthaltenen URLs können bei URL-Blacklist-Servern überprüft und ausgefilter werden.

Bayes-Filter

    Dieser selbst lernende Filter klassifiziert Nachrichten auf Basis der Bayes-Methode.

Benutzerdefinierte Regeln

    Durch die Vergabe eines positiven oder negativen Score-Wertes für bestimmte Suchbegriffe bzw. Wörter kann die Filterung auf persönliche Bedürfnisse angepasst werden. Dabei werden auch reguläre Ausdrücke unterstützt.

Regelsets

    Mit Regelsets können externe Regeldateien in Phalanx eingebunden werden. Die externen Regeldateien bieten wesentlich mehr Möglichkeiten als die benutzerdefinierten Regeln. Die Regelsets können - mit Hilfe der Filter-Einstellungen in den Programmoptionen - an einer bestimmten Stelle im Filterprozess ausgeführt werden.

Plugins

    Der Funktionsumfang von Phalanx kann mit Plugins erweitert werden. Damit können komplexere und umfangreichere Filteraufgaben ausgeführt werden, als dies z.B. bei Regelsets möglich ist.

Abfrage von Kopfzeilen und Löschen von Nachrichten vom Server

    Unabhängig vom verwendeten Mail-Client können zuerst nur die Kopfzeilen abgefragt und gefiltert werden. Mit Regeloptionen kann die Nachricht ignoriert oder direkt vom Mailserver gelöscht werden.
