Verbesserung: Automatisches Speichern optimiert

Wir haben das automatische Speichern optimiert. In älteren Versionen konnte eine automatisch gespeicherte Datei mit einer nachfolgenden Datei überschrieben werden, wenn die nachfolgende Datei zu schnell erzeugt wurde. Wir haben einen besseren Mechanismus implementiert, der einen eindeutigen Dateinamen erzeugt, wenn eine Datei bereits existiert.

Verbesserung: Konvertierung von MS Office Dateien optimiert

Wir haben die automatische Konvertierung von MS Office Dateien wie doc und docx optimiert, sodass die Dateien besser in eine PDF Datei konvertiert werden können. Für diese Dateien gibt es nun eine spezielle Behandlung.

Feature: Unterstützung der Rücktaste in der Dateiliste

Über die Rücktaste kann man zum Elternordner wechseln, der dann in der Dateiliste angezeigt wird.
Verbesserung: Änderung des Dateinamens in der Dateiliste optimiert

Die Optimierung bezog sich auf das Ändern von Links. Namensänderungen von Links werden nun besser unterstützt.

Verbesserung: Dateiliste ist nun viel viel schneller

Die Dateiliste ist nun virtuell und um ein vielfaches schneller als vorher. Bei wenigen Elementen in einem Ordner macht sich die Optimierung kaum bemerkbar, aber bei einigen tausend Elementen musste man vorher einige Sekunden warten, bis die Liste aufgebaut war. Nun ist die Liste um ein vielfaches schneller als vorher fertig. Gerade in Firmen kann es oftmals Ordner mit vielen Elementen geben und Wartezeiten sind immer ärgerlich.

Verbesserung: Verzeichnisbaum optimiert

Der Verzeichnisbaum öffnet nun nicht mehr automatisch den Ordner, der in der Liste angezeigt wird. Auf diese Weise muss sich bei großen Ordnern nicht noch der Baum laden, denn das Laden des Baumes ist im Vergleich zur Liste eher langsam. Weiterhin haben wir einige Punkte optimiert, sodass auch der Baum etwas schneller lädt. Das Verhalten ist damit auch dem Windows Explorer ähnlicher.

Verbesserung: Drag & Drop Startbedingung im Verzeichnisbaum optimiert

Die Drag & Drop Operation wurde manchmal zu früh initiert, was nicht nötig war. Wir haben den Punkt optimiert und erhalten so ein besseres Verhalten.

Feature: Eingabefeld über der Dateiliste und dem Dateibaum mit dem aktuellen Pfad

Im Bereich des Datei-Explorers gibt es nun eine Eingabezeile, die den aktuellen Ordner anzeigt. Die Eingabezeile kann man modifizieren und mit Enter bestätigen, um den Ordner über die neue Eingabezeile zu ändern.

Verbesserung: Einige Sprachdateien erweitert.

With one click you can convert your Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint documents or your emails and favorite web sites to PDF files. doPDF is a free PDF converter, it is not a PDF viewer. doPDF installs itself as a virtual PDF printer driver so after a successful installation will appear in your Printers and Faxes list. PDFCreator ist ein kostenloses Programm, mit dem sich Dokumente eines jeden Windows-Programms als PDF-Datei speichern lassen. Es wird dazu als Drucker in das System eingebunden und erlaubt so die Ausgabe in eine PDF-Datei.

Die Qualität der erstellten Dokumente ist dabei ähnlich hoch wie bei den Produkten von Adobe. Zum weiteren Funktionsumfang von PDFCreator gehört eine 128-Bit-Verschlüsselung, die die Dateien vor unerwünschten Zugriffen schützt. Auch eine Bündelung mehrerer Dokumente zu einer PDF-Datei ist möglich.
