PDF24 Windows Service Startproblem behoben

Auf bestimmten PC's konnte der PDF24 Windows Service nicht richtig starten und ist während des Startens abgestürzt. Dies ist beim untersuchten Fall unter Citrix aufgetreten. Dieses Problem ist behoben.

Problem beim Extrahieren von Text im Creator Kontextmenü behoben

Dieses Tool war fehlerhaft. Probleme wurden hier behoben und das Tool macht nun wieder dass, was es soll.

Verbesserungen bezüglich der Standarddrucker Verwaltung

Verwendet jetzt die Winspool-Methoden GetDefaultPrinter und SetDefaultPrinter als Standard zur Verwaltung des Standarddruckers. Es wurde ebenfalls ein Timeout beim Drucken auf dem Standarddrucker von 10 Sekunden auf 5 reduziert, um Dateien schneller im Creator konvertieren zu können.

Die Zoom-Stufen beim Zoomen per CTRL + Mausrad wurde optimiert. Die Zoom-Stufen sind nun mindestens durch ein vielfaches von 5 teilbar.

PDF Reader Toolbar optisch verbessert

Die Toolbar im PDF Reader ist nun etwas größer und übersichtlicher, wodurch es leichter ist, die Tools zu verwenden. Weitere Verbesserungen bezüglich der Ansicht bei verschiedenen Fenstergrößen wird folgen.

PDFCreator ist ein kostenloses Programm, mit dem sich Dokumente eines jeden Windows-Programms als PDF-Datei speichern lassen. Es wird dazu als Drucker in das System eingebunden und erlaubt so die Ausgabe in eine PDF-Datei.

Die Qualität der erstellten Dokumente ist dabei ähnlich hoch wie bei den Produkten von Adobe. Zum weiteren Funktionsumfang von PDFCreator gehört eine 128-Bit-Verschlüsselung, die die Dateien vor unerwünschten Zugriffen schützt. Auch eine Bündelung mehrerer Dokumente zu einer PDF-Datei ist möglich.
