PDF Eraser is an application that permits you to easily delete and erase text, images, logos and all unnecessary objects from PDF files.

You can use the program to remove some original content from a PDF file, and then add their own text and images for instance. Additionally, PDF Eraser includes a built-in PDF page cutter, which will allow you to delete any unnecessary PDF pages.

If you have ever come across a document that is not aligned properly, PDF Eraser includes a PDF rotator function which allows a 2 click correction. All-in-all, ODF Eraser allows you to have a bit more control over how and what your PDF documents display providing a useful tool when dealing with PDF documents.

doPDF is a free PDF converter for both personal and commercial use. Using doPDF you can create PDF files by selecting the "Print" command from virtually any application. With one click you can convert your Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint documents or your emails and favorite web sites to PDF files. doPDF is a free PDF converter, it is not a PDF viewer. To view PDF files you will need the free Adobe Reader.

doPDF installs itself as a virtual PDF printer driver so after a successful installation will appear in your Printers and Faxes list. To convert to PDF, you just have to print the document to doPDF, the free pdf converter. Open a document (with Microsoft Word, WordPad, NotePad or any other software), choose Print and select doPDF. It will ask you where to save the PDF file and when finished, the PDF file will be automatically opened in your default PDF viewer.

Ghostscript erstellt PostScript- sowie PDF-Dateien und bereitet diese für Bildschirmansicht und Druck auf. Auch eine Konvertierung von PostScript-Dateien in PDF-Dokumente und gängige Bildformate ist mit dem Tool möglich. Die etwas umständliche Bedienung per Kommandozeile lässt sich mit grafischen Bedienoberlächen wie GSView oder GhostView umgehen. Ghostscript harmoniert prima mit FreePDF XP zum kostenlosen Erstellen von PDF-Dokumenten.

Incompatible changes

    The planned device API tidy did not happen for this release, due to time pressures, but we still intend to undertake the following: We plan to somewhat tidy up the device API. We intend to remove deprecated device procs (methods/function pointers) and change the device API so every device proc takes a graphics state parameter (rather than the current scheme where only a very few procs take an imager state parameter). This should serve as notice to anyone maintaining a Ghostscript device outside the canonical source tree that you may (probably will) need to update your device(s) when these changes happen. Devices using only the non-deprecated procs should be trivial to update.

Die Freeware "PDF Split and Merge" fügt einzelne PDFs zusammen und umgekehrt. Sie haben mehrere Präsentationen als PDF vorliegen und müssen daraus eine einzelne erstellen - jedes PDF in die Ursprungsdatei zurückzuverwandeln, anschließend zusammenzufügen und danach erneut zu konvertieren gestaltet sich als mühselig und zeitintensiv.

Die Freeware "PDF Split and Merge" kürzt den Prozess ab, indem es bereits existierende PDFs über nur wenige Mausklicks trennt oder zusammenfügt.
