Mit HttpWatch kann man sich anzeigen lassen, was alles geladen/aufgerufen wird (inkl. Ladezeiten), wenn man eine Internetseite öffnet. Dazu installiert sich das Programm als Erweiterung in den Firefox bzw. IE. Mit einem Rechtsklick im Browser bekommt man die Möglichkeit, das Programm und anschl. die Aufzeichnung zu starten. Neben der Free-Version bietet der Hersteller noch eine Pro-Edition an, die mit 395$ aber eher nicht für den Privatanwender gedacht ist.

Tile Tabs allows tabs to be displayed in tiled layouts within the Firefox tabbed browser content area. In each tiled layout, tiles can be arranged horizontally, vertically or in a grid, and tiles can be re-sized by dragging splitter bars. Tabs and links can be dragged to open in new or existing tiles. The scrolling of tiles can be synchronized. A tiled layout can display tabs from more than one Firefox tab group.

Dark Reader for Chrome will make surfing the web easier on the eyes through customizable dark themes.

You will have some adjustable settings at your disposal, toggling between light and dark themes, brightness value adjustment, contrast, grayscale as well as sepia effects. You can also set the visited webpage's font and modify the text stroke. Additionally, you can create a website list that ensures that the dark theme will never be applied.

Flagfox is a Firefox add-on that displays a flag icon indicating the current webserver's physical location. Knowing exactly where you happen to be connected to adds an extra layer of awareness and security while browsing. This information can be useful in indicating what native language is being used as well as which legal jurisdiction may apply. You obtain additional information via a multitude of external lookups and you can add your own custom actions directly to the flag icon's context menu or use keyboard shortcuts for quick access.
