This software allows you to create nice-looking photo galleries for the Web. You simply select or drag and drop folders containing images or movie files onto JAlbum, and it creates thumbnails and HTML pages to publish your images as a gallery or as a picture slide show. The galleries are based on various templates, and their appearance can be further customized by advanced users. The application's additional features include support for IPTC/EXIF data, style sheets, lossless image manipulation, pluggable image filters, and a built-in FTP client.

    Embedded visual HTML editor! Right-click a comment or description and select "Open HTML Editor" and take it from there. Now you can style your album- and image descriptions without any HTML knowledge.
    Comes with 5 new modern user interface themes ("look and feels") thanks to the open source FlatLaf project. (The new default "jAlbum Dark" look replaces Darcula, which has become abandoned.). New looks can be added by users to jAlbum's system/themes folder.

nomacs is a free image viewer licensed under the GNU Public License v3. It is small, fast and able to handle the most common image formats. Additionally it is possible to synchronize multiple viewers. A synchronization of viewers running on the same computer or via LAN is possible. It allows to compare images and spot the differences (e.g. schemes of architects to show the progress).

Mit dem Tool WIA-Loader lassen sich Fotos von einer Kamera oder Speicherkarte auf den Computer übertragen und auf Wunsch auch gleich anhand flexibler Optionen umbenennen. Darüber hinaus vermag es auch die Bilder auf einen FTP-Server zu laden, einfache HTML-Fotoalben anzulegen sowie unter Windows XP die Kameras fernzusteuern. Außerdem geocodiert WIA-Loader die Bilder, indem es GPS-Daten, die als GPX-Dateien zur Verfügung stehen, in die EXIF-Header der Bilder einbettet. Zum problemlosen Ausführen des Tools wird das .NET-Framework 2.0 oder höher unter Windows benötigt. Mit dem Mono-Framework ist das Tool zudem auch unter Linux und Mac OS X lauffähig.

Picture Viewer ist ein kleiner Bildbetrachter für die gängigsten Bildformate. Die automatische Größenanpassung für die Bilder und ein Vollbildmodus sorgen für eine gleichmäßige und angenehme Darstellung. Bilder können gedreht und gespiegelt werden, in ein anderes Verzeichnis kopiert oder verschoben und umbenannt werden.

In den Dateieigenschaften können die EXIF-Informationen des Bildes eingesehen werden.

Folgende Formate werden unterstützt: JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, ICO, WMF, EMF und TIFF. Auch DIB, RLE (Bitmap) und JFIF (JPEG) können angezeigt werden.

Bitte, das Programm sollte nicht mit einem stupidem Dubletten Finder Programm verwechselt werden, das Programm generiert grafische Signaturen und vergleicht diese auf Pixel Basis, aber nicht nur dass, Sie können auch gedrehte, gespiegelte und negative Bilder finden, auch wenn z.B. das Bild in der Größe (Abmessung) verändert wurde. (Was man ja nicht selten macht, wenn das Bild vom Smartphone, oder iPhone kommt).
