BatchBlitz is a batch image processor with an included photo edit program. It allows you to add a watermarks, filter source files, rename/convert images, resize/rotate, automatically apply color corrections, and more. An instant preview gives you a look at effects before executing. Additionally, the program supports regular expressions for filtering files to be processed and for the renaming of files. It includes a wizard to categorize files based on metadata (EXIF or IPTC tags). The editor program is separate from the batch program, but included in the application folder, and can be launched from within BatchBlitz for editing.

Mit "StudioLine PhotoBasic" können Sie Ihre persönliche Bildersammlung bequem auf dem Computer verwalten. Die Fotos lassen sich einfach in das Programm importieren. Nun können Sie beliebige Beschreibungen zu den einzelnen Bildern schreiben und später nach Stichworten aus diesen Texten anzeigen lassen.

Daneben stehen eine Vielzahl an Filtern für die Nachbereitung Ihrer Fotos bereit, von der Tonwertkorrektur bis zum Transparentfilter sind alle wichtigen Funktion mitgeliefert. Wenn Ihnen am Ende die Orginalversion des Bildes doch mehr gefällt, können Sie diese auch einfach wiederherstellen; das Programm speichert sie automatisch.

Ihre Bildersammlung können Sie dann als Diashow entweder fürs Web oder auf eine CD/DVD exportieren. Dafür stehen mehrere Vorlagen zur Verfügung.

Das Programm ist nahezu identisch zu StudioLine Photo. Unterschiede zwischen der hier angebotenen Basic-Version und der kommerziellen Vollversion: kein RAW-Support, keine Zeitleisten- und Stichwortdarstellung, keine Updates und Services. Außerdem muss man sich nach 30 Tagen kostenlos registrieren lassen, um das Programm weiterhin zu nutzen.

ExifTool kann mehr als nur Meta-Daten lesen und schreiben: Die von der Kamera gelieferten EXIF-Daten sind nicht immer korrekt, beispielsweise wenn das Kameradatum nicht stimmt oder der Kommentar noch auf den Vorbesitzer der Kamera hinweist. Solche Fehler korrigiert das Exif-Tool.

Die Sammlung von Perl-Skripten liest EXIF-, IPTC- und XMP-Daten und ändert diese auf Wunsch. Einen separaten Perl-Interpreter braucht man nicht. Für den vollen Funktionsumfang muss man sich mit der Kommandozeile vertraut machen, zum Korrigieren der Metadaten einzelner Bilder genügt das auf ExifTool aufsetzende ExifTool GUI.

Fotokorrektur läuft immer wieder auf die gleichen Arbeitsschritte hinaus. Einen pickt sich der JPG-Illuminator heraus, der sich auf das Aufhellen von Schatten und Abdunkeln der Lichter spezialisiert. Er bearbeitet zusätzlich den Kontrast und setzt Bilder in Schwarzweiß um. Wie der Name JPG-Illuminator schon sagt, richtet sich das Programm an Nutzer, die im JPG-Format fotografieren. Da es ohne Installation auskommt, startet es beispielsweise auch vom USB-Stick.

- Neue Funktion "Farben angleichen" (Danke an Wilsberg für die Anregung):
Bei abfotografierten Textseiten stellt man häufig fest: Das weiße Papier ist nicht überall gleich ausgeleuchtet und erscheint nicht überall gleich weiß. Im Bild-Menü findet sich der Eintrag "Farbangleichung ...". In einem neuen Arbeitsmodus setzt man mit der Maus mehrere Referenzpunkte ins Bild mit dem Ziel, an diesen Punkten Helligkeit und Farbe einander anzugleichen. Zwischen den Punkten wird mit einem abstandsbasierten Verfahren interpoliert. Sobald man mehr als einen Punkt gesetzt hat, sieht man die Wirkung bereits in der Vorschau. Wahlweise kann sich die Angleichung orientieren entweder am ersten gesetzten Punkt, am hellsten Punkt, am dunkelsten Punkt oder am Mittelwert der gesetzten Punkte. Mit ein klein wenig Übung erzielt man ein gleichmäßiges Ergebnis.

nomacs is a free image viewer licensed under the GNU Public License v3. It is small, fast and able to handle the most common image formats. Additionally it is possible to synchronize multiple viewers. A synchronization of viewers running on the same computer or via LAN is possible. It allows to compare images and spot the differences (e.g. schemes of architects to show the progress).

Nachdem die erste Version dieser Funktion häufig den Kontrast des Bilds beeinträchtigte, haben wir sie neu konzipiert. Eine der Stärken von ji war ja von Beginn an die Verwendung eines linearen Farbraums. Und so benutzen wir diesen jetzt auch für die Funktion "Farben angleichen". Die Berechnungszeit ist etwas länger, das Ergebnis aber um Klassen besser. Zusätzlich kann man nun die Berechnung auf "nur Helligkeit" einschränken.
Wer schon Bilder mit "Farben angleichen" in der Version 4.7.7.0 gespeichert hat, dem empfehlen wir, diese mit der aktuellen Version nochmal zu öffnen und zu speichern.
