ImBatch is a batch image processor with a nice graphical user interface. It will allow you to edit multiple image files at the click of a button by using scripts. The script will be created by combining Tasks. ImBatch can batch resize and convert images in minutes instead of hours or days if you do it manually.

Menu - File - Copy to folder (ask destination) (standard hotkey: C)
Menu - File - Copy to folder (same destination) (standard hotkey: Shitf-C)
Functions analogously to Move to folder, but copies the file instead of moving it. The "Same destination" folder is shared for the Copy and Move actions.
Like Move to folder, this function never rewrites a file, if it exists. Like Move to folder and Move to _Rejected, the XMP-file will be copied along with the RAW file, if it exists, and in RAW+JPEG mode, the JPEG file will be copied as well.

Global (absolute) _Rejected subfolder:

Using Preferences - File Handling - Subfolder for rejected files one can assign not just a subfolder, but an absolute path as well. An absolute path follows the rules below:

Windows: absolute paths start with 'C:' (local path, any Latin letter can be used instead of '?') or with '\\' (network paths)
The dialog to set the absolute path is not supported, one must type it out manually.

New Action: Menu - File - Close File:

Stops all background decoding processes; changes the current folder to %HOME%/Pictures (if it exists), or to %HOME%, "closes" the currently opened file.
Intended, primarily, to support the proper un-mounting of an external drive (flash card, camera, removable drive, etc).

Other changes:

EXIF data extraction (exposure, ISO setting, lenses) from the XMP blocks built into the RAW files.As one of the results, we now display Leaf shooting data.
The CCT/Tint calculation has been improved, especially for low color temperatures ("warm" light).
DXO Optics 10 and Capture One 8 have been added to the list of programs, automatically recognized during the first start of FRV.
Added camera support for Panasonic GF7 and Sony A7 II

ExifTool kann mehr als nur Meta-Daten lesen und schreiben: Die von der Kamera gelieferten EXIF-Daten sind nicht immer korrekt, beispielsweise wenn das Kameradatum nicht stimmt oder der Kommentar noch auf den Vorbesitzer der Kamera hinweist. Solche Fehler korrigiert das Exif-Tool.

Die Sammlung von Perl-Skripten liest EXIF-, IPTC- und XMP-Daten und ändert diese auf Wunsch. Einen separaten Perl-Interpreter braucht man nicht. Für den vollen Funktionsumfang muss man sich mit der Kommandozeile vertraut machen, zum Korrigieren der Metadaten einzelner Bilder genügt das auf ExifTool aufsetzende ExifTool GUI.

Mit dem Tool WIA-Loader lassen sich Fotos von einer Kamera oder Speicherkarte auf den Computer übertragen und auf Wunsch auch gleich anhand flexibler Optionen umbenennen. Darüber hinaus vermag es auch die Bilder auf einen FTP-Server zu laden, einfache HTML-Fotoalben anzulegen sowie unter Windows XP die Kameras fernzusteuern. Außerdem geocodiert WIA-Loader die Bilder, indem es GPS-Daten, die als GPX-Dateien zur Verfügung stehen, in die EXIF-Header der Bilder einbettet. Zum problemlosen Ausführen des Tools wird das .NET-Framework 2.0 oder höher unter Windows benötigt. Mit dem Mono-Framework ist das Tool zudem auch unter Linux und Mac OS X lauffähig.
