 ImageKlebor is a tool that can combine multiple input images (like chunks of a sliced image or frames of an animation) into a single output image. All images can be arbitrarily arranged on a grid (which may also be a horizontal or vertical stripe), and several extended options let you put together your various image slices with ease.

ImageKlebor comes in two flavors: the graphical (GUI) version lets you put together your images in a visual (manual) way, while the command-line version is especially useful for pipeline integration and automated tasks.

ExifTool kann mehr als nur Meta-Daten lesen und schreiben: Die von der Kamera gelieferten EXIF-Daten sind nicht immer korrekt, beispielsweise wenn das Kameradatum nicht stimmt oder der Kommentar noch auf den Vorbesitzer der Kamera hinweist. Solche Fehler korrigiert das Exif-Tool.

Die Sammlung von Perl-Skripten liest EXIF-, IPTC- und XMP-Daten und ändert diese auf Wunsch. Einen separaten Perl-Interpreter braucht man nicht. Für den vollen Funktionsumfang muss man sich mit der Kommandozeile vertraut machen, zum Korrigieren der Metadaten einzelner Bilder genügt das auf ExifTool aufsetzende ExifTool GUI.

ArtSee is a small, standalone slideshow program, that displays JPEG files in the selected folder (and subfolders). The program can cycle through all the JPEG images it finds and you can also set some options, including slideshow timing, borderless image display, move between images, using the keyboard and more. ArtSee runs in the system tray for quick access and can also install a shell extension for JPEG images, making it available from the right-click menu.

ArtSage (formerly ArtSee) is an image viewer that displays the image files in a folder tree. It packs lots of options and features in a tiny executable, including slideshow, layout, collage, transitions etc. It supports BMP, EMF, GIF, ICO, JPG, PNG and TIF files. It is excellent in creating an automated slideshow, where the EXE is placed together with all the images to be displayed on the storage media (CD, USB memory stick etc.). Launching the EXE will immediately display the images in slideshow mode.

Raw Therapee bietet umfangreiche Werkzeuge zur Korrektur von Helligkeit, Farbe und Bildrauschen. Per Protokoll kann man jederzeit zu jedem Bearbeitungsstand zurückkehren. Das Resultat speichert das Programm zwischendurch als Schnappschuss oder endgültig als JPEG, PNG oder TIFF – letzteres zur Weiterverarbeitung auch mit 16 Bit pro Kanal. Alternativ gibt es die Bilddaten an Gimp weiter.

The most significant changes in the GUI are the following:

    * multi-tab interface
    * the real batch processing support arrived: select multiple images and adjust them together (the multi-adjust behavior of some parameters is selectable in the preferences dialog: they can be either additive or absolute)
    * completely re-written editor: preview and detail view are now gone. The main image view can be magnified as required, and only the necessary part of the image will be re-calculated. There is a small navigator, too, and infinitely many detailed views can be opened to investigate fine details.
    * 16 bit thumbnails (an option, takes double disk space)
    * before/after view in the editor

The only change in the algorithms is:

    * the behavior of the exposure controls changed. The "exposure" parameter is what was called "brightness" in previous versions. The "brightness" parameter is now a real brightness control, that shifts the histogram (of course with highlight/shadow protection)
