Play video and audio files with this intuitive application that allows you to apply various filters on source items, including blur and grayscale ones. Specifically, the program can load and process pictures (JPEGs, TIFFs, BMPs, GIFs, and PNGs), clips (AVIs, WMVs, and MP4s), live camera feeds from USB or IP devices, as well as Raspberry Pi MJPEG streamers. Users are free to load single or multiple items with just a few mouse clicks, a feature that ensures one can process entire libraries with ease.

As with most players, users have at their disposal all the basic controls – i.e. 'next', 'previous', and 'play' or 'pause' buttons for video documents. However, since this does little to distinguish the application from other similar tools, a noteworthy option is the ability to add customized filters to source items.

SmoothVideo Project (SVP) allows you to watch any video on your PC file with frame interpolation (like you can watch it on high-end TVs and projectors). It increases frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing ones to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. The technology is well-known for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it's available for free to PC users with simple GUI and just a couple of mouse clicks.

Since version 3.0 SVP provides GPU acceleration and now it's possible to watch FullHD 1080p-video recalculated to 60Hz in real-time on any modern GPU hardware. Here is the speed comparsion (*) between CPU-only mode and GPU accelerated:

SVP actually is not a video player itself, but it enables almost any player to play smooth video.

We are introducing the next update of ALLPlayer 6.7, in which the authors following the latest technological trends have added gesture control, and support for Windows touch screens.
With this feature can you easily change screen size, rewind a movie, and in full screen mode like on Android players, there is convenient volume control on the right side of the screen, and brightness on the left side.
This way desktop ALLPlayer got familiar features like ALLPlayer Android, available in Google Play.

ALLPlayer 6.7 also works better with ALLPlayer Remote, which supports now not only ALLplayer, but all video players. ALLPlayer Remote can be used also as a virtual touch keyboard and mouse.

In the latest ALLPlayer, we fixed a number of problems reported by users, including the latest Opera browser.

ALLPlayer 6.7 comes in the full version with all codecs needed to play music and videos built-in, including streaming videos directly from torrent files.

Bug fixed an error in shaders when playing a YCrCb or YByRy movie or sequence. The error would show in debug builds of mrViewer, as an assert failing due to unpremult missing in shader.
File requester now opens on the last directory of any drag and drop file.
Fixed a rare hanging bug when multiselecting files in the file requester.
Shader's YUV display conversion is no longer YCbCr based on resolution but covers the full gamut of Y. The type of YUV display conversion is controlled from the Media Information window, Color Space enum, which in turn can be hinted in the saved movie file. To obtain the previous behavior, set the Color Space to BT709. This addresses the question why movie files created and displayed with mrViewer had a high black pedestal (they were displayed as BT709). Note that this does not currently change the values of pixels in the pixel info toolbar nor in the color area window nor in the file.
