Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) is a fork of Media Player Classic, a media player that mimics the interface of Windows Media Player 6.4. MPC-HC varies from regular MPC with the inclusion of includes bugfixes, additional languages and decoders, 64-bit version, support for EVR rendering, hardware acceleration for H.264 and VC-1 video, etc.

It works in two modes: a Media mode which can play any file supported by DirectShow (any file which plays in MediaPlayer) and a DVD mode which uses pre-installed DirectShow DVD filters to play DVD content. This is the new and improved standalone video player part of EDM2013. All the tools from EDM2013 will be a part of the new EDM2014 but this time as standalone tools that is working together via EDM2014 main control program. Until everything is finished each part of the new EDM2014 will be released as standalone tools. So, if you need to convert a file or any of the other options in EDM2013 that is still the tool to use. If you just need a reliable and fast video player, the EDM2014 Video is what you do want.

PixelFusion is a video enhancement plugin for Windows Media Player that processes digital video to make it sharper and clearer.

How do I use PixelFusion?

- After installation, run Windows Media Player. By default, the plugin should be enabled so playback of video will be enhanced without doing anything.
- To enable/disable the plugin, go to the Main Menu, click on 'Tools' then 'Plug-ins' and click on the item 'PixelFusion plugin' to enable or disable the plugin. If the item has a tick next to it, this signifies that the plugin is currently enabled. The plugin can also be toggled on/off via the View menu, in plugin subcategory 'Other'.
