Some general notes:1. Renaming and 'open item directory' features come from here:http://forum.inmatri...showtopic=139982. With regards to the renaming function: Alt+Shift+M can be remapped. To get the rename option on the playlist context menu, you must - for the moment - use the default Zoom context menu. To get the hotkey working, you must - again, for the moment - use the default Zoom key file. When bLight releases the updated English.menu and default.key files, that will be when we can add the renaming function to our custom files. If you rename a currently playing file, that file will stop playing - this is because Zoom has to stop the playback graph to do the rename, due to the filters locking the file when they are in use. Renaming will also work on 'invalid' files. Lastly, if you do not specify a file extension, Zoom will assume you want to use the current one. If you want to change the file extension, then you have to specify the new one.3. The 'open item directory' also works on 'invalid' files.4. The single frame shift fix. A few things to note here: First, this is an old bug report (#16) that up to recently, was thought to be a feature of the affected renderer's, not a bug in Zoom as such (the report had been closed as not being a bug in Zoom). Simply put, whenever you paused Zoom when using an affected renderer, the video that you paused would advance one frame (or in the case of madVR, reverse one frame). I believe you need to have the Zoom OSD enabled to see this, but the OSD is enabled by default so a lot of people would probably see this. Aside from being annoying, it also makes it more difficult to take frame captures at specific spots in the video. Secondly, the renderers affected are: Standard Overlay (shows the next frame), VMR Renderless (shows the next frame), Haali's (shows the next frame), EVR (shows the next frame), madVR (shows the previous frame). With madVR, you have to be in fullscreen mode and have automatic FSE mode enabled in madVR itself to see this. The frame shift did not occur for the other supported renderer's. Thirdly, there was an initial fix for this in the unreleased 8.70 Beta 1 that fixed EVR only. There was a second - but more aggressive fix - for this that applies to all the renderer's placed into 8.70 Beta 2. The aggressive fix has some side-effects though - you will see these if you open a video using one of the affected renders, and then pause it. If that seems to work fine, just keep resuming playback and pausing until you see what I mean (I can't really describe what happens, but you will know when you see it). Basically, the aggressive fix is a little temperamental as to whether it will work without issue or not. I haven't done extensive testing on this one - just a quick test to see if it fixed the issue or not. bLight thinks it requires more extensive testing, so, any feedback welcome on this one.
