MPC-HC (Media Player Classic Home Cinema) is an Open Source media player that supports most video and audio file formats.

MPC-HC was designed to play every available format, but not just for fancy, high-end rigs, but also for older computers and processors going back to Windows 2000.

Similar to other players, the focus is what's on the screen. The top bar has access to many settings including File, View, Play, Navigate, and help. At the bottom, you will find familiar, easy to use controls to play, go forward or backward, pause, volume, and more.

mrv2 is the much-awaited second generation of the top-rated mrViewer flipbook player. It boasts an impressive array of features that support a wide range of media formats.     When saving a sequence of OpenEXR, we encode the speed in the actual
    image file, as taken from the playback tool bar. This value will take
    precedence over the Sequence Default speed as set in Preferences->Playback.

    Made warnings also show up in the status bar, but with an orange background.

    Improved HUD Attributes. They are now listed alphabetically and they are not
    repeated. Also, they refresh properly.

    Fixed Media Information panel not refreshing properly when changing images.

    mrv2's tlRender library now reads the video and audio stream metadata.

    When there's no audio metadata there's no longer the titles of
    Attribute/Value used at the end of the Metadata tab in the Media Info Panel.

    Metadata in Media Info Panel is now sorted and stripped of repeated data.

    Media Info Panel's tabs now remember whether they were opened and closed.

    Added GoPro Cineform codec to the list of profiles you can use to encode.
    The biggest benefit is that it can encode at GBRP_12LE and GBRAP_12LE (ie.
    RGB and RGBA at 12 bits with alpha) for a replacement to Apple's proprietary
    ProRes4444 codec.
    It is supported by Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder),
    Apple's Final Cut Pro, Blackmagic Design Davinci Resolve, Avid Media
    Composer, Nuke, Flame and Inferno.

    Some improvements for hotkey and global media key handling. This for example fixes a problem caused by a Windows/Chrome/Edge bug where clicking on notifications could send a keypress with value 0 to wrong window, which could trigger hotkey actions in MPC-HC.
    This adds a new option to display audio track details in the statusbar. Note: Statusbar info does not (yet) update when changing audio track through splitter tray icon, only when doing it using player functionality.
