BE is a free and open source audio and video player for Windows. Media Player Classic - BE is based on the original "Media Player Classic" project and "Media Player Classic Home Cinema" project, contains additional features and bug fixes. The BE mod (Black Edition Mod) is a skinned version of Media Player Classic Home Cinema, much better looking than the plain old MPC. MPC-BE Mod is usually newer because they use the latest SVN the most up-to-date version of the code.

MPC-HC (Media Player Classic Home Cinema) is an Open Source media player that supports most video and audio file formats.

MPC-HC was designed to play every available format, but not just for fancy, high-end rigs, but also for older computers and processors going back to Windows 2000.

Use other.lua to replace the function of saving the current volume to the conf file required by the automatic volume implemented by other.js, and update the relevant code. It is recommended to delete the previous data folder or delete other.js before use.

Why use other.lua instead of other.js:

Solve the problem that the mpv x64 version may fail to run (from the end of February 2021 to the present). This is a problem of mpv compilation. The reason is most likely a bug caused by the update of the mpv integrated js interpreter (mujs) version.

Phenomenon: As long as there are js files in the script folder, mpv will exit silently immediately after running.

MPV-EASY borderless GUI mode:

Added a new osc style: one-two-one.

The play button has been redesigned to solve the problem of visual asymmetrical center during display.

Deepen the color of all icons in the light color mode, so that it can be displayed more beautifully under more light backgrounds.

The width processing logic of the video file name control is optimized for the new osc style. In the new style or the specified style, the video file name can be displayed as multiple lines.
