MPV-EASY Player is a tool based on mpv, a small video player that enables you to view a wide variety of movie files. Unlike mpv, the application comes with an interface that makes managing files and videos considerably simpler. Improved code for extracting fps values, extraction logic is more robust and correct, and when some problematic video files do not return fps values, the fps at osc will be displayed as [-] instead of the previous blank.

Note: When playing such a problematic video file, the actual real-time fps value can still be obtained by the estimated-vf-fps parameter, but the current fps value obtained by estimated-vf-fps is constantly changing. BE is a free and open source audio and video player for Windows. Media Player Classic - BE is based on the original "Media Player Classic" project and "Media Player Classic Home Cinema" project, contains additional features and bug fixes. The BE mod (Black Edition Mod) is a skinned version of Media Player Classic Home Cinema, much better looking than the plain old MPC. SmoothVideo Project (SVP) allows you to watch any video on your PC file with frame interpolation (like you can watch it on high-end TVs and projectors). It increases frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing ones to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. The technology is well-known for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it's available for free to PC users with simple GUI and just a couple of mouse clicks.

Since version 3.0 SVP provides GPU acceleration and now it's possible to watch FullHD 1080p-video recalculated to 60Hz in real-time on any modern GPU hardware. Here is the speed comparsion (*) between CPU-only mode and GPU accelerated:

SVP actually is not a video player itself, but it enables almost any player to play smooth video.

KMPlayer is a audio/video player that supports a wide range of file formats, including AVI, MKV, MPEG, OGM, MP4, ASF etc. without any additional codecs installed. It also has full VCD/DVD playback functionality. In addition, it is able to play incomplete/damaged AVI files, or media files that are locked while downloading or sharing.
