SmoothVideo Project (SVP) allows you to watch any video on your PC file with frame interpolation (like you can watch it on high-end TVs and projectors). It increases frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing ones to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. The technology is well-known for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it's available for free to PC users with simple GUI and just a couple of mouse clicks.

Since version 3.0 SVP provides GPU acceleration and now it's possible to watch FullHD 1080p-video recalculated to 60Hz in real-time on any modern GPU hardware. Here is the speed comparsion (*) between CPU-only mode and GPU accelerated:

Zoom Player is a robust media and DVD front-end player. It was designed to be simple at first glance while being remarkably dynamic and flexible when used to its full potential. It works in two modes: a Media mode which can play any file supported by DirectShow (any file which plays in MediaPlayer) and a DVD mode which uses pre-installed DirectShow DVD filters to play DVD content. It supersedes media player in all it's functions and provides several important functions that media player lacks. It provides special zooming functions to improve TV-output quality by eliminating overscan.

  * Kinetic scrolling has been rewritten from scratch, it should now be
    a lot more responsive and accurate, especially when used on lower-end
    PCs and Tablets.

    The kinetic acceleration/deceleration speed settings have also been

We are introducing the next update of ALLPlayer 6.8, in which the authors following the latest technological trends have added gesture control, and support for Windows touch screens.
With this feature can you easily change screen size, rewind a movie, and in full screen mode like on Android players, there is convenient volume control on the right side of the screen, and brightness on the left side.
This way desktop ALLPlayer got familiar features like ALLPlayer Android, available in Google Play.

ALLPlayer 6.8 also works better with ALLPlayer Remote, which supports now not only ALLplayer, but all video players. ALLPlayer Remote can be used also as a virtual touch keyboard and mouse.
