This should fix all the File->Save dialog issues, in addition to the fixes detailed at http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=33567
http://www.getpaint.net/files/zip/test/Paint.NET.3.54.3698.34409.Beta.Install.zipThis build is not available via the built-in updater. There is no need to uninstall your old version; that will be taken care of automatically. You can also reinstall v3.5.3 if you need to, in case this v3.5.4 beta is cranky.I was hoping I wouldn't need another update, especially so soon, but an issue with File -> Save As was reported and it's honestly important. See the discussion here: http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=33660Reproducing this is easy,1. Start up Paint.NET2. Open any image, we'll call this A.3. Open another image from a different folder. We'll call this B.4. Switch back to the first image.5. File -> Save AsIn previous versions, and according to both expectation and convention, the Save As dialog should start up from the folder that A was opened from. Instead, it opens up from B's folder. If you aren't paying strict attention (and honestly you shouldn't need to) you could save "A" under a new name but then not be able to find it because it's not where you thought you put it!Stated more generically, the Save As dialog always starts up in the same directory that any previous Open or Save dialog was closed from. This build also fixes a crash in a few plugins related to their "Open" dialogs. Namely, pyrochild's Color Match ( http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25300 ).
This release is strictly to fix this one bug: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/20196-does-pdn-delete-picture-once-saved/So before you ask: no, I didn't add or change anything else, versus v3.5.5. (Well, I changed the icon for 'language'.)This beta is not available via the built-in updater. I hope to publish the final build soon.
