DSpeech is a text-to-speech program with the option of saving the output to a variety of formats, great for creating audio books from text sources. It also supports dynamically changing the features of the voices eg. insert pauses, emphasize specific words, spell them out etc. using tags.

The program can import text from TXT, DOC, DOCX, RTF, HTML, XML, and PDF and output to MP3, OGG, AAC, WMA.

DSpeech works out-of-the-box on WinXP and above because the Microsoft speech engine SAPI5 is included by default. For WinNT/2K, you will need to install the speech engine separately. You will find links to plugins, speech engines and voice sets on the program website.

Features

The Mnemosyne software resembles a traditional flash-card program to help you memorise question/answer pairs, but with an important twist: it uses a sophisticated algorithm to schedule the best time for a card to come up for review. Difficult cards that you tend to forget quickly will be scheduled more often, while Mnemosyne won't waste your time on things you remember well.     The following fixes and improvements were not associated with bug reports:

    Add filters to the File>Open dialog in File mode to show only files with GnuCash extensions, only those matching GnuCash's backup file pattern, or any extension.
    Select the first result in the Customer/Vendor search box. This allows faster keyboard navigation -- Find Customer, input search string, press ENTER, use up/down to select desired object, press ENTER to open object.
    Improve foreign currency handling in budget report

    Improve handling of the blank transaction when the register is sorted in reverse:

    Change the preference option 'Future transactions after blank transaction'
    Change tooltip for 'Blank Transaction' in register to mention moving to the blank transaction.
    Show the blank transaction at top of register
    Prevent infinite recursion from gnucash_item_edit_focus_out when using an input method.
    Create obsolete features list with first member book_currency.Obsolete features set in the book will be removed from the book's KVP and ignored.
    Restore existence, but not implementation, of GNC_FEATURE_BOOK_CURRENCY.
    At least one user has managed to get it set on their book so even though it was supposed to be unimplemented it got through somehow. Restoring it allows books with it set to load.
    Offer to force edit non-identical fields when multiple matches are selected in the import matcher window. Previously only identical Desc/Notes/Memo were unlocked for editing.
    Guard against there being no namespaces in the new security dialog
    Fix Finance::Quote use on Win32 by dealing with Win32 rn newlines on return from finance-quote-wrapper.
    Fix some menu labels that were not marked for translation
    Fix category in CSV export with simple layout.
    If Trading accounts is enabled, and the transaction is a transfer between two accounts of differing commodities, the CSV simple-layout export would incorrectly show "--Split Transaction--" as the category.
    When configuring Guile use pkg-config before searching for binaries.

LosslessCut is a simple, Open Source, cross-platform video editor for lossless trimming and cutting of videos. This utility is useful for rough processing large video files captured with video cameras, drones, GoPro, etc. Tiy will be able to quickly pull out the good parts of a video and disregard the rest without losing a bit of quality.

LosslessCut omits any encoding or decoding to keep the cutting process fast and efficient. It supports most common cutting formats, but since it's Chromium-based (HTML video player), you will find that not all FFmpeg formats are supported. The following formats and codecs should work without issue MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, OGG, WAV, MP3, AAC, H264, Theora, VP8, VP9.

Transport Tycoon Deluxe war Mitte der 90er eines der ersten Tycoon-Spiele, in denen der Spieler seine eigene Transportfirma gründet und mit Bussen, LKWs, Zügen, Schiffen und Flugzeugen sein Geld verdienen muss. Das Open-Source-Projekt OpenTTD macht es möglich, Transport Tycoon als Klon auch auf einem Linux-Rechner zu spielen. Gegenüber dem Original wurden viele Bereiche des Spiels verbessert und erweitert. Die Bedienoberfläche ist an vielen Stellen intuitiver und komfortabler geworden. So gehören beliebig vergrößerbare und anheftbare Fenster, sortierbare Listen, Zusatzansichten oder ausführliche Informationsdialoge zu den auffälligsten Verbesserungen. Für das Spielgefühl hat sich auch einiges getan.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Our goal for the 3.1.1 release of OpenShot was to listen very closely to our user community and their feedback from the 3.1.0 release, and quickly follow-up with a new release of OpenShot. We prioritized this feedback based on how many users each issue affected, and also considered many automated bug reports from Sentry.io.

We fixed many major issues, including crashes, freezes, video compatibility, and broken functionality with our user interface. This entire release cycle took around 14 days, and our entire team worked very hard to make this happen so fast! A big thanks to everyone who helped, especially Raffi, who was instrumental in communicating with our users and advocating for important issues to be resolved.
