Hauptänderung ist das variable Layout des Hauptfensters, das über den Form Designer den eigenen Wünschen angepasst werden kann. Das zog jedoch weitere Änderungen nach sich

    Umbau des Kontrollpanels, das jetzt mehr Ähnlichkeit zu denen in anderen Playern hat und daher intuitiver sein sollte
    Steuerung für Effekte und Equalizer in eigenes Fenster ausgelagert
    Steuerung für Hauptwiedergabe und Kopfhörer teilen sich nun einige Bedienelemente; umschalten über die Buttons an der linken Seite des Kontrollpanels
    Anzeige des Liedtextes für den aktuellen Titel entfernt. Stattdessen optionale Anzeige des Liedtextes (statt Cover) beim markierten Titel in Playlist und Medienliste

Außerdem wurden dadurch einige Änderungen am Skinsystem notwendig bzw. sinnvoll

    Hintergrundgrafiken für einzelne Bereiche definierbar, mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zur Ausrichtung
    Einstellbarkeit einiger weiterer Farben, auch im "erweiterten Skinsystem", z.B. die Schriftfarbe in den Listen

    Auswahl des Sleep-Modus nicht mehr über ein tief verschachteltes Menü, sondern über ein eigenes Fenster
    Kleine Änderungen an der Anzeige der Titel in der Playlist
    Deskband für Windows XP aus dem Archiv entfernt. Es wird prinzipiell noch unterstützt, aber da Nemp ohnehin nicht mehr vollständig kompatibel zu Windows XP ist, ist das nur noch unnötiger Ballast.
