Mp3tag ist ein kostenloser Tag-Editor, der die in vielen Audiodateien gespeicherten Informationen wie Interpret, Album und Titel bearbeiten kann. Er bietet komfortable Möglichkeiten, um diese Informationen weiterzuverarbeiten.

Die Software erlaubt das Umbenennen der Dateien auf Basis der Tags, wendet Reguläre Ausdrücke an und sucht und übernimmt auf Wunsch Tags aus freien CD-Datenbanken wie etwa freedb und Amazon. Zu den unterstützten Formaten gehören unter anderen MP3, MP4, AAC, OGG sowie WMA.

Album chart generator:

Added top-chart generator function [Linux only]
This function generates an album grid chart of a given size as an image file. You can share them with your friends!
Tip: You can find this function by going Settings... > Functions > Chart Generator...
This function will target the actively viewed playlist and include albums in order starting from the top of the playlist. If you were to want a chart of your most played albums, you could use the Most played albums playlist generator function or you could edit a playlist yourself manually for items you want to include.
You can specify the font and font size to use in the config file.
