received. Initial look seems to suggest it might be dvb-titles related. Could it be that it seems to fail with hd (looks like twice with HD Erste) but might something altered with their titles, or otherwise just failure there? Difficult to tell co i'm not seeing exact spot, but looks like hd erste each time related to this?

just one suggestion before sdvb get's into the final 03 stadium: Is there a way for the timer recording (next the main recording knob) to show how much time you selected for the recording? Means that when you have selected (maybe) 60 minutes this is not checked in the time box so a control of how much time you have selected is (for me) impossible? Whereas in the "at end" box you can always control which event you have chosen.

ok ritschibie, noted. At first i thought this would be illogical but no problem to just show which timer u previously selected for a record if one at all (btw with the new record list you should be able to see begin/end time of record which would allow you to figure out the timer you selected even know with a little calc).

You're right - there's no need for this. Only now I noticed that you see also the ending time in the recording list. That's all one needs for the purpose!

ok now it is done but with another notice i should tell you when you toggle to window mode the screen take maybe 2:3 seconds to show and also it loss the aspect ratio i define i mean it does not keep the aspect ratio i configured befroe in both side  so if you cane like the progdvb to put an option to make the screen ration predefined to 16:9  or 4:3 always

if you disable ratio at tools > settings > general with 'set aspect ratio from source' does it operate like u require?

jack told me, that my crashes could be related to "dvb titles" ... where could I deactivate them?

hi rc tst sent. Let me know if ur issue's better with this one snoop, also ioosis AR with mode switch full/windows should operate better if not let me know. Reports able to be sent with this tst..

I got a message window "deleting old EPG entries ... please wait" a really long time on all channels.

I get the same mesage once I reopen sdvb but that message lasts only for a few seconds. Seems like there's an inbuilt routine that deletes the epg found and asks for new database. I found this today also in "Senato" (italian channel linked exclusively to transmissions from the italian Senate). I never found there any epg...

hi, acual this is ok, previous beta's had issue that old epg didn't get deleted, so it now just takes long time probably. Epg delete code's been altered to try to remove old epg gradual so to speak (otherwise it could take long time, also lead to lock issues when someone then went to epg etc so tried to improve this while back). So it should get better after first run with those messages, but might also be prudent to limit this so if there still r records to delete after 2-3 mins just stop it for this session. Here at europe this is not issue, but us epg for example sometimes is huge so this delete at one time takes long time app seems to be frozen then at places (due to database lock while delete ofcourse). suggestions appreciated . YOu also could just remove smarteit.db if it's too cumbersome..
