yes but if it concerns ur adaptor other apps also would have problems so i doubt that (i do know others have reported win8 operates ok for them now with switch etc but still could be timing issues somewhere, you don't have a quick system it seems or not?)..
edit: btw ur not switching monitors or something like that when going from fulscreen to windows mode?

i only use 2gb of memory with x2 550 3.1ghz process hope to upgrade someday if you would like to use team viewer to see urself it is ok by me i really would like to help

ok we could try teamviewer just let me know when. Also did you actually send a report? Perhaps you could send it again, when you see the crash click 'what does this report contain' after that you could just save nd send it to me so i'd be sure it's your issue otherwise i might overlook it or not realise it's urs..

the Last Beta: install ok; Scan Astra and Hot Bird ok;grahp all LAV with EVR is famos;
encrypt with Hadu best.I`m not work with OSD>>> for me is blablabla. Epg work good I see no problem.

after b3 it does not crash it hangs when using enhanced video while altering from full to window mode

btw: how did you send report without exception? With new b3 option? Looks like vmr9's at use? Not much use to send without exception though coz no error path to be traced then.

Hi all here´s current beta 3 public release, most here have it already ofcourse but have received no major reports so it´s out there. Looks almost like RC to be honest coz most issues seem solved:

btw: the ioosis issue seems to be related to specific windows 8 version data, still need to figure that out...

Other then that seems quite ok this b3 so i'd like to get the RC nd release out soon (or might even b direct release) coz i'm tired of only bugsearch nd to have to refrain from additions. No spring break for me here this time i promise u that

by "scanner" you mean the frequency scanner I suppose, not the blind scanner? I'll test the frequency scanner in the afternoon.

tested the frequency scanner right away. Here are the results of the Munich jury:
Astra 19.2 east

Total channels scanned: 1525
Video channels: 1128
Audio channels: 210
Data channels: 187

Hotbird 13.0 east

Total channels scanned: 2101
Video channels: 1582
Audio channels: 373
Data channels: 146

Scanning times were fast: less than 4 minutes per sat

ok tx ritschibie. Indeed i meant the normal scanner since i know the bs's not used much here (not possible also with ur tt 3200 if i'm correct).
Did you also update the stations? Seems the problem's more related to that, but it should already be  located (tx to those reports). More exact seems related to 'preferred language' (scanner settings) alterations followed by new frequency scans, so if you never touch those settings u should be ok.

Concerning speed: nothing altered to actual scan parsers but more general optimizations although less then 4 mins for astra/hotbird sound prett quick, although i do remember the tt 3200 tunes pretty quick (i still have one at my old place gathering dust i'm afraid)

You're right, I did'nt touch "preferred language" in the settings and I updated the channellist. No problems found

When changing the channel often, SmartDVB stops working. I think, when switching to a HD channel. But I cannot reproduce it really. Just hopping through the channels and then when changing to a HD channel, SmartDVB stops working.

I tried different codecs, but the problem persists. I tried the TT-Budget Software and it does not crash ... is there a way to FORCE a crash report? Because I just get a message, that SmartDVB stopped working.

@snoop: yes there actually should be now but only from 0.3.0 beta 3, so make sure u utilize that. Then if you're able to select 'tools > send application report' or press CTRL-ALT-R you might still be able to send report. I would request your settings to verify this but if report send is possible settings.ini should also be sent (to make sure i know it's your report you could also click 'what does this report contain' at report window nd then export to send me report (otherwise difficult for me to see easy report's form u coz big pile)..
