DNSLookupView is a DNS tracing tool for Windows 10 that allows you to view the details of every DNS query sent through the DNS Client service of Windows. For every DNS query, the following information is displayed: Host Name, Query Type (A, AAAA, and so on), Query Status (Error or succeeded), Query Result, Query Timestamp, ID and name of the process that requested the DNS lookup.

IP-Sniffer is a small command line tool that captures the IP traffic for a given network adapter. The tool is available for Windows and Linux systems. By using of protocol-, IP-address- and/or IP-port-filters a very special IP-traffic can be captured. An integrated Interprocess-Communication (IPC) client allows forwarding the filtered IP-traffic to other applications which run on the same system, e.g. the decontev IP-Proxy tool. (btw. IP-Proxy can be used to then forward this data to remote sites.) Additionally it can be set whether only the payload data or the entire IP-Frame shall be forwarded. Several filters can be defined and activated at the same time and for each of these filters a separate IPC channel can be opened. For easier and fast definition of filters an own configuration tool is provided.

TCPING will send TCP probes to an IP address or a hostname you specified and display the results. TCPing supports both IPv4 and IPv6.

When using TCPING, successful and unsuccessful probes are assigned different TCP sequence numbers. This makes it easy to identify any failed probes and determine the total number of packet drops up to that point.

DNSQuerySniffer is a network sniffer utility that shows the DNS queries sent on your system. For every DNS query, the following information is displayed: Host Name, Port Number, Query ID, Request Type (A, AAAA, NS, MX, and so on), Request Time, Response Time, Duration, Response Code, Number of records, and the content of the returned DNS records.

You can easily export the DNS queries information to csv/tab-delimited/xml/html file, or copy the DNS queries to the clipboard, and then paste them into Excel or other spreadsheet application.

InternetTest is a small multi-tool for checking internet connection status and more.

You can easily verify if a specific site is down and then navigate to it through the Down Detector function. You can also check an IP location in-app via OpenStreetMap, Bing Maps, or Google Maps. It will also provide you with a connection history displayed on the right side of the simple interface.

These actions can be performed manually, but InternetTest groups them together, making them easily accessible without unnecessary navigation.

Requires Microsoft .NET to run this app.
