AdwCleaner versucht Adware, Toolbars und eine veränderte Homepage im Browser zu entfernen. Dazu wird zuerst ein Suchlauf gestartet und im Anschluss erhält man eine TXT-Datei mit den Ergenissen angezeigt. Sollten mehrere Sachen gefunden werden, kann man leider nicht einzeln auswählen, was gelöscht werden soll. Einzig vor dem Suchlauf hat man die Möglichkeit, bestimmte Sachen auszuschließen. Dazu klickt man oben Links auf das Fragezeichen->Optionen.

I have rewritten the 'Disable Windows Update' option from scratch once again. Now it [again] reliable disables updates in Windows 10. Let me know if you have issues with disabling updates, especially if you have Windows 10 version 1903/1909.

I have changed the user interface of the 'Disable Windows Defender' option. It is now just a checkbox that reflects the current feature state. Many users find the previous implementation with command buttons not obvious and confusing.

For Windows 7 users, I've added a new option to disable the full screen 'End of Support' notification.

There are also improvements made to the search feature.

WinContig is an easy-to-use file defragmentation program that does not require defragmenting the entire disk. This is useful for squeezing extra performance out of important or frequently used files or programs without wasting time and energy on the rest of the drive.

The program engine is based on the standard Microsoft defragmentation API. In addition, WinContig allows you to group files into profiles, and it accepts a number of optional command-line switches that you can use to control how the program operates.
