SpeedFan monitors fan speeds, temperatures and voltages in computers with hardware monitor chips. It can even access S.M.A.R.T. info for those hard disks that support this feature and show hard disk temperatures too, if supported. It can even change the FSB on some hardware. DevManView is an alternative to the standard Windows Device Manager. It displays all devices and their properties in a flat table, instead of a hierarchical treeview. In addition to displaying the devices of your local computer, DevManView also lets you view the device list of another computer on your network, as long as you have administrator access rights to that computer. DevManView can also load the devices list from external instance of Windows and disable unwanted devices. This feature can be useful if you have trouble starting Windows on a particular machine and you need to disable a problematic device.

Bei Fat32Formatter ist der Programmname gleich Funktion. Das kostenlose Tool formatiert Partitionen im FAT32-Format, auch wenn diese eigentlich die von Windows vorgesehene Maximalgröße von 32 Gigabyte überschreiten.

Die Oberfläche von Fat32Formatter erinnert mit ihrem kargen Charme an Partitionierer aus frühen Windows-XP-Tagen. Per Pulldown-Menü wählt man den Datenträger aus, der formatiert werden soll. In einer grafischen Übersicht sieht man die Aufteilung des Datenträgers nach Laufwerken. Auf Wunsch erstellt Fat32Formatter neue FAT32-Partitionen beliebiger Größe oder löscht bestehende Laufwerke.

Der kostenlose Fat32Formatter hebt die OS-Beschränkung der Größenlimitierung bei FAT32-Laufwerken auf. Wer bei Partitionen größer als 32 Gigabyte das als besonders kompatibel geltende FAT32-Format einsetzen möchte, findet in Fat32Formatter genau den richtigen Helfer.
