"Sicher Löschen" ist ein portables Tool, um Daten sicher zu löschen und keine Spuren auf der Festplatte zu hinterlassen. Dateien sicher löschen ist erforderlich, um das Wiederherstellen gelöschter Daten zu verhindern.

Sicheres Löschen ist mit diesem Löschprogramm möglich, weil es die Daten vor dem endgültigen Löschen mit Nullen bzw Lehrzeichen überschreibt.

Die Datenrettung ist natürlich unmöglich nach diesem Vorgang. Also bitte nur einsetzen, wenn die Daten wirklich unwiderruflich gelöscht werden sollen.

Mit der Freeware Prevent Restore kann der freie Bereich von Festplatten mit leeren Daten überschrieben werden. Dadurch ist ein wiederherstellen von gelöschten Dateien nicht mehr möglich.

Für andere Überschreibungsarten bietet der Hersteller eine kostenpflichtige Version an. Der normale User sollte aber mit der Freeware gut bedient sein.

    With this update we are removing SHA1 code signing certificate from our executables. The SHA1 digest was deprecated by Microsoft many years ago. We keept it after that for many more years just to support old operating systems.
    From now on our code will be signed by modern SHA256 only. Thus, legacy systems, such as Windows 7 and earlier will see "unsigned executable" warning, because they don't recognize newest SHA256.
    You may still use our app, just click "yes" or "approve" to continue. Just a warning message on a legacy systems will change from normal blue to yellow warning.
    This change is related to legacy system only, such as Windows 7 and earlier. Windows 10 and 11 users will not be affected.
    Please accept our apologies, but we need to move forward, we can't stay with old digest in code signing forever. For those who worry about security - you can right click our file, select Properties, select digital signatures, and you will see that the code signing certificate is valid.

Alternate File Shredder can delte data on you hard disk and overwrite the free space on a drive at the same time so deleted files cannot be restored.

Alternate File Shredder allows you to delete files and / or folders permanently, which means they cannot be restored by recovery software. This is realized in that way, that before the file is deleted, its content will be overwritten with a random content or zero-values several times. The result of this is, that recovery software may restore the file with its size, but the content is changed - so the file gets useless.
