Archiviert Datenträger wie CDs oder DVDs

AACD legt ein Archiv für Wechseldatenträger wie CDs oder DVDs auf der Festplatte ab. Ohne ständiges Einlegen und Durchsuchen der Silberlinge finden Anwender so schnell zu gesuchten ausgelagerten Dateien.

Mit AACD bringt man beispielsweise eine Übersicht seiner Audio-CDs auf die Festplatte. Die Freeware ermittelt nicht nur die Inhalte der eingelesenen Datenträger, sondern fügt diesen auf Wunsch auch Abbildungen wie das Cover hinzu.

Zudem weist man den Datensätzen bei Bedarf Favoriten-Tags hinzu. Dank einer Suchfunktion gelangt man bei AACD auch in großen Beständne zügig zum gesuchten Datenträger.

It is able to import information from IMDB (US), DVDFR (FR), Allociné (FR), Culturalia (ES) and lots of others using scripts. EMDB is a small utility to keep track of your DVD collection. With an automatic import from the database of IMDB, export to csv, text or complete website, thumbnail cover preview, a loan tracker, search function and multi-language user interface. EMDB is written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and doesn't need a .NET framework or any other external libraries.

    User Interface: Sorted the entries in the Add / Edit Audio Streams dialog drop downs alphabetically.
    Translations: Updated the Persian, Greek, Finnish, German, French and Dutch translations.

- This is how it works for now:
For movies EMDB uses the first entry of the Production Companies section of the Company Credits page (just follow the 'See more' link of the Company Credits section of the movie main page). E.g. for Avatar this will be 'Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation' (shortened to '20th Century Fox').
For TV Series EMDB selects the (USA) (TV) section of the Distributors section of the same page. For non-USA TV Series the (USA) is substituted with the country of origin. If the title is postfixed with a abreviation the abreviation is used. E.g. for Breaking Bad 'AMC' is selected as Network.
- This algoritm seems to work pretty good for both US and international movies and TV Series.
- User Interface: Improved updating of the Bookshelf after multiple edits / additions.
- Translations: Updated the Greek translation.

Changes in EMDB 1.59:

- Media File Renaming: Keep CD1/CD2 in filenames.
- Media File Renaming: Added %I (IMDB number) as possible tag.
