EMDB is a small utility to keep track of your DVD collection. With an automatic import from the database of IMDB, export to csv, text or complete website, thumbnail cover preview, a loan tracker, search function and multi-language user interface. EMDB is written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and doesn't need a .NET framework or any other external libraries.

Neue Funktionen

    Discogs-Integration
    Analog dem MusicBrainz-Abgleich (Strg+M) gibt es nun auch den Discogs-Abgleich (Strg+D)
    Beim Suchlauf "Interpret/Album mit Onlinedatenbank abgleichen" kann man nun wählen, ob mit MusicBrainz oder Discogs abgeglichen werden soll.
    Der Coversuchlauf kann ebenfalls bei Discogs suchen.
    Ebenso der Suchlauf nach Genre oder Jahr.
    Zusätzlich gibt es zwei neuen Spalten "Interpret-ID (Discogs)" und "Album-ID (Discogs)" in der Listenansicht.
    In den Dialogen für Eigenschaften von Album oder Interpret gibt es zusätzlich zur last.fm-Suche auch einen Absprungbutton für Discogs.
    Equalizer
    Im unteren Bereich gibt es einen neuen Reiter "Equalizer". Dieser enthält einen konfigurierbaren 15-Band Equalizer.
    Man kann verschiedene Konfigurationen speichern und sehr schnell wieder aufrufen.
    Titel vorhören
    Bei mehr als einer Soundkarte kann AudioExpert einen anderen Titel parallel abspielen. Diesen Titel kann man dann "live" schalten oder in die Playliste einreihen.
    In den Einstellungen kann als "Doppelklick-Aktion" ebenfalls "Titel vorhören" eingestellt werden.
    Neue Option "Wiedergabe beim Sperren des Computers pausieren und beim Entsperren fortsetzen
    Der ewig lange Titel dieser Option (zu Finden auf dem Reiter "Wiedergabe > Überblenden & ReplayGain" ganz unten) sagt es eigentlich schon...
    Neue Formatstrings %Bitrate% und %CorrectedBitrate%
    Für den Format-String können diese beiden neuen Platzhalter verwendet werden, um die Bitrate bzw. die korrigierte Bitrate auch in den Dateinamen schreiben zu lassen.
    Das ist besonders spannend mit z.B. der Funktion $ifequals(%bitrate%, %correctedbitrate%, "", " - %correctedbitrate%"), die nur im Falle einer möglicherweise hochskalierten Datei die tatsächliche Bitrate an den Dateinamen anhängt.
    Neue Formatstrings %AlbumMBId%, %AlbumDGId%, %ArtistMBId% und %ArtistDGId%
    Über diese Formatstrings können die IDs für Interpret/Album aus MusicBrainz oder Discogs angesprochen werden.
    Über $IfEmpty(%AlbumMbID%, "[Kein MusicBrainz]", "[MusicBrainz OK]") kann man so z.B. den Dateinamen modifizieren
    Neue Formatstrings %Complete% (%komplett%) und %Reviewed% (%geprüft%)
    Liefert "vollständig", wenn das Album als "Vollständig" markiert wurde (andernfalls einen Leerstring) oder "OK", wenn das Album als "geprüft" markiert wurde (andernfalls ebenfalls einen Leerstring)
    Spalte "Jahr" in der Baumansicht
    Über das Menü "Ansicht > Optionen für Baumansicht" kann man die neue Spalte "Jahr" im Baum anzeigen. Dadurch wird das kleinste Jahr aus den zugeordneten Titeln in der Baumansicht angezeigt.
    Ebenfalls über die rechte-Maus-Taste auf der Kopfzeile der Baumansicht möglich.
    Fehlerprotokoll für den Suchlauf "Korrigierte Bitrate berechnen"
    Falls Titel nicht analysiert werden konnten, kann man durch das Protokoll evtl. die Ursache ermitteln.
    Ruhezustand nach langen Operationen
    Bei einigen Funktionen, die möglicherweise länger laufen, gibt es die neue Option, den PC im Anschluss in den Ruhezustand zu versetzen oder herunterzufahren.
    Diese Option wird nicht gespeichert und muss daher bei jedem Lauf explizit aktiviert werden.
    Wiedergabe von wavpack und speex-Dateien
    Schreibgeschützter Modus
    Um z.B. auf einer Party die Bearbeitungsfunktionen zu deaktivieren, kann über Menü "Extras > Schreibgeschützer Modus" ein Passwort hinterlegt werden, mit welchem der Modus wieder deaktiviert werden kann
    Verhalten der Schieberegler einstellbar
    In den Einstellungen (Menü "Extras > Einstellungen > Verhalten der Schieberegler") kann man konfigurieren, ob ein Mausklick den Regler direkt an die gewünschte Stelle setzt oder (wie bisher) eine "Häppchenweise" Änderung vornimmt.

 

Bugfixes

    Bei aktivierter Verzeichnisüberwachung konnte es unter Umständen beim Beenden von AudioExpert zu einer Fehlermeldung kommen
    Bei der Suche kam es zu einer Fehlermeldung, wenn nach "%%" gesucht wurde
    Die Sortierung in der Listenansicht nach "Albumgain/Trackgain" war nicht nummerisch
    Beim manuellen Zuordnen der Amazon ASIN wurde der Albumname im Vorschaufenster nicht korrekt UTF8 decodiert
    Die Thread-Priorität für das Berechnen der korrigierten Bitrate wurde erhöht

The Music Collection is a free program that allows you to archive your music collection. Using it you can enter in a collection any kind of music media that you own or you intend to. Also you can add or edit any kind of information concerning the albums in the collection.

The album info can be manually entered or automatically via the Internet. After saving the albums, you can browse them, filter albums by all possible criteria and search for particular album tracks you are interested. Also the program can display and print all data from your music collection in different ways, so you can pick the desired one.

The idea for creating the program was to manage my own music collection and i hope that it would be also useful to any music collector.

After a long period of silence, Data Crow rises again to the surface. This patch updates
the external libraries and fixes the most urgent problems. Luckily 4.1 has proven to be
very stable indeed. It's time to continue onwards to version 4.2.

[Fixed]
- Upgrade process; saving icons to disk was only triggered when upgrading from version
  4.0.16 or older. This step will be redone with this version.
- Password could not be changed after setting it for a user.
- For both the server and the client, a different database (as supplied with -db:) could
  not be used.
- For reports the images are now scaled to allow for a maximum dimension of 200x200.
  This to reduce the size of the images and subsequently the report as generated.
- Quick search doesn't work when a quote is in the search value.
- Editing a item "as new" disallows deleting images.
- Play length (duration) incorrectly displayed in the table view.
- The Metacritics.com online search engine did no longer retrieve the title.

- The Softpedia search engine and the Sourceforge.net search engine have been removed.
  Unfortunately the implementation no longer holds. Each site update is potentially
  disruptive to these service since there's no web service to get the information
