That took a while, right? Finally the web server has been released! The server edition now has the capability to host both web and full Data Crow clients at the same time.
This version contains the new web server as part of the existing server architecture. This replaces the old web module as was delivered with version 3 but never made it into version 4. The web server delivers the following functionality:
Searching for items (Search..), Creating new item (File > Create New), Edit item (Right-Click > Edit), Navigation between items (for example, open a software title, then click on it's category, then see which other items have been assigned to this category, etc.), Picking fields for the overview and the item form (web). (Settings > ..) and the full security model has been implemented. This web server delivers the same basic functionality (with a tad more style) as the old web module and will be expanded upon with each and every normal (4.x) delivery (see the roadmap section).
The web server is a module of the existing (since 4.0) server edition. The web server uses an embedded version of Tomcat, version 8.0.23.

GUI changes:

Change the way person's head shot is cropped. Prior to this release if a head shot was too tall it was crop from top and bottom. In this release the person image is only cropped from the bottom. To have the system regenerate person images (on demand), you must "Remove derived image files" and clear your browsers cache.
The close button for movie and person details has been moved to the right side.
Some icons have been updated.
Main grid layout has been enhanced to handle resizing person details. Prior to this relese the person details were closed when the browser windows was resized.
Increase color contrast of fonts on movie and person details.

Other Enhancements:

Since trailer downloads take a long time, there is now an option to defer trailer downloads by placing an item in the import queue that will download the trailer later. This occurs in two places. When importing a movie from the import queue, the trailers are now added as separate queue item so movies import faster. From the movie edit window, you have option to download trailer during import, defer trailer download, or not to download trailer. This will speed up the time to import new movies and update existing ones.
"Choose folder" dialog accessed from the settings window will now try and use the NETBIOS name which is the standard on Windows computer instead of the hostname.

Bug fixes:

Fix bug where drop menu sometimes refuses to close when clicking off the menu.
Fix minimum height of video player when the settings window is opened.
Prevent "About" windows from showing twice.
Sometimes updating a movie cover image or person head shot did not update background and font colors.
Return appropriate error when logging in as another user and no users exists.
Fix missing media info label for episode files.
Build 1917 had a bug where the importer configuration for movie and person images were not set correctly. If you installed 1917, the default configuration can be fixed by restoring default settings.

The Music Collection is a free program that allows you to archive your music collection. Using it you can enter in a collection any kind of music media that you own or you intend to. Also you can add or edit any kind of information concerning the albums in the collection.

The album info can be manually entered or automatically via the Internet. After saving the albums, you can browse them, filter albums by all possible criteria and search for particular album tracks you are interested. Also the program can display and print all data from your music collection in different ways, so you can pick the desired one.

The idea for creating the program was to manage my own music collection and i hope that it would be also useful to any music collector.

EMDB is a small utility to keep track of your DVD collection. With an automatic import from the database of IMDB, export to csv, text or complete website, thumbnail cover preview, a loan tracker, search function and multi-language user interface. EMDB is written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and doesn't need a .NET framework or any other external libraries.
