DVBSBridge is the software package, which delivers full MCE TV experience for DVB-S channels. DVBSBridge is not a standalone application. It is a bridge, which connects MyTheatre application to MCE. MCE sees this connection in its natural way - as a (DVB-T) tuner device, providing user with a full control over incoming content, including timer and one-touch recordings, EPG, pause live TV, replay etc

Man benötigt Version 4.85.3 oder neuer. Mit Version 5 geht es momentan auch nicht, soll aber in der nächsten Version kommen!

Und es funktioniert in ProgDVB (anders als in MyTheatre) nur mit DVB-Karten, deren Hardware einen vollständigen Transport-Stream liefern können. Das heißt: Besitzer von SkyStar1 (und baugleichen) Karten können die ProgDVB-Version von DVBSBridge nicht benutzen.

Ich habe es mittlerweile so weit geschafft, dass ProgDVB 4.87 bei mir läuft und das Modul habe ich auch eingerichtet. Treiber hat mein Vista auch gefressen und akzeptiert. Jetzt habe ich jedoch das Problem, dass mein MediaCenter keine Kanäle findet. Den Assistenten habe ich durchlaufen, die aktuellen Settings runtergeladen. Trotzdem findet er beim Scan nichts.

Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass ProgDVB mir jedes mal abstürzt, wenn ich die Mappings ändere und auf OK klicke... Beim nächsten ProgDVB-Start wird aber alles korrekt angezeigt!

PS: ProgDVB läuft natürlich mit dem /NoGraph Schalter im Hintergrund!

Edit: Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass ich keinen Kanal in der DVBSBridge.tree-Kanalliste auswählen kann. Es hängt sich jedes mal ProgDVB auf! Wenn ich einen Kanal in meiner normalen Kanalliste auswählte, klappt alles ohne Hänger. Deaktiviere ich das MCEBridge Modul, funktioniert auch die DVBSBridge.tree-Kanalliste wieder!

DVBSBridge for ProgDVB, version 0.1.1b

Version 0.1.1 beta of DVBSBridge for ProgDVB is released. It contains the following changes comparing to the previous version:
- Support for multilingual channel names
- Fixed EIT parser - more reliable reproduction of EIT packets on the output
- Introduction of EPG parser engine

DVBSBridge for ProgDVB, version 0.2b

Version 0.2 beta of DVBSBridge for ProgDVB is released. It is a major update of DVBSBridge functionality. Please read installation instructions carefully when installing new version or upgrading from the previous one! It contains the following changes comparing to the previous version:
- Introduction of DVBSBridge windows service
- Introduction of DVBSBridge Configuration utility for easy installation and configuration
- MCE standby functionality is supported now (subject to compatibility at the driver level)
- Timer recordings without the need for user to logon
- EPG information generation in xmltv format
- Compatibility with the latest ProgDVB version is fixed (4.87.xx)
- Sporadic hang-ups of ProgDVB during channel changes are fixed

DVBSBridge for ProgDVB, Release Candidate, v 0.9

Release Candidate (version 0.9) of DVBSBridge for ProgDVB is released. It contains the following changes comparing to the previous version:
- Installation executable
- DVB-T tuner driver fix (it caused sporadic "no services found" error during scan for services in MCE and sporadic absence of the signal when waking up from standby)
- Selection of channels to be scanned for EPG information

This version has been tested to work properly with ProgDVB versions 4.85.3, 4.87.8, 4.88.3. All these versions of ProgDVB can be downloaded from Download section of this website. Some users have reported that they still experience problems with ProgDVB v. 4.88.3 (no channels found during search for services in MCE). If this is the case for you, use one of the two other versions of ProgDVB.


DVBSBridge service, Release Candidate, v 0.9

DVBSBridge service is introduced as generic DVBSBridge element with own installation executable. It is required for proper operations of DVBSBridge versions for ProgDVB or MyTheatre and have to be installed before them.
