Am 31.08.2010 gibt es auf dieser Seite eine Promotion, die exakt einen Tag dauert.



Abzustauben gibt es eine Jahresversion der kostenpflichtigen Version von AVG. Ich kann euch allerdings nicht sagen, ob die erhältlichen Keys auch mit der deutschen Trial funktionieren. Einfach mal ausprobieren. Alternativ gibt es ja auch immer noch die kostenlose Version von AVG Antivirus.

Die Version 2011 des AVG-Virenscanners kommt laut Hersteller mit einem überarbeitetem Smart-Scanner, der im Vergleich zur Vorgängerversion dreimal schneller arbeiten soll. Dazu trägt bei, dass der Scanner nicht jedesmal alle Dateien neu scannt, sondern nur neu hinzugekommene. Ob sich alte Dateien geändert haben, stellt AVG anhand des gespeicherten Hash-Wertes fest.

Der in AVG integrierte LinkScanner zum Prüfen von URLs etwa in Ergebnisseiten von Suchmaschinen ist nun in der Lage, auch Short-URLs in sozialen Netzen wie Facebook und Twitter zu prüfen und bei Verdacht davor zu warnen. Laut AVG folgt der Linkscanner der URL in Echtzeit zum echten Ziel.

Darüber hinaus will der Hersteller die Benutzerfreundlichkeit erhöht haben. Unter anderem ist die Installation leichter und im "Game Modus“ soll beispielsweise der Scanner bei Multimedia-Anwendungen nicht mehr mit lästigen Popup-Nachrichten stören. Eine "Einklick-Reparatur"-Funktion verspricht bestimmte Softwareprobleme automatisch korrigieren zu können. Zudem bieten AVG 2011 eine überarbeitete Bedienoberfläche, die für Windows 7 sogar ein eigenes Widget für Scans und Updates mitbringt. In der Internet Security Suite soll die Firewall verbessert worden sein.

AVG Internet Security 2011 ist ab sofort verfügbar und kostet 39 Euro, den reinen Scanner Antivirus 2010 ohne Firewall gibt es für 28 Euro. Die kostenlose AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2011 steht ebenfalls bereits zum Download bereit. Ihr fehlt im Vergleich zum kostenpflichtigen Virenscanner unter anderem der Identitätsschutz. Daneben bietet der Hersteller für kleine Unternehmen einen kostenlose Version der Small Business Edition 2011 für bis zu fünf Rechner an, die eine Remote-Admin-Konsole mitbringt. Für die Nutzung der Version ist allerdings eine Registrierung erforderlich.
