TEncoder is a multithreaded video and audio converter that uses MEncoder, MPlayer and FFMpeg. It can convert almost every video and audio type to another. Subtitles with same name as video can be hard-coded into video. Up to 8 simultaneous encoders can be run so encoding time decreases. You can select between multiple audio and subtitle tracks. Extracting video or audio content is possible. Edit subtitle and audio delays and part of video that will be encoded. Effects like deinterlacing can be applied to videos. Output video codecs are: Mpeg1, Mpeg2, Xvid, Mpeg4, H264, FLV, WMV, VP8. Output audio codecs are: MP3, WAV, AAC, OGG Vorbis, AC3, Mp2.

VSDC ist eine Videoschnitt- und Bearbeitungssoftware, die einen beachtlichen Funktionsumfang mit sich bringt (Einarbeitung nötig). Als Ausgangsmaterial werden alle gängigen Formate unterstützt (MP4, AVI, MOV, DIVX, MKV, MPG...). Ebenso können eigene Bilder in die Videos integriert werden. Video- und Audioeffekte werden bereitgestellt und die Videos lassen sich in mehreren Spuren anordnen und bearbeiten.
Das größte Auflösung eines Videoprojektes beträgt 1980*1080 mit einer Framerate von 30 Bildern pro Sekunde. Im Audiobereich wird nur Stereo unterstützt. Fertige Projekte können exportiert werden, bzw. auch direkt eine DVD erstellt werden. Gleichzeitig gibt es bereits vorhandene Profile um die Projekte für die XBox, iPod oder Smartphones zu exportieren.

Bei der Installation sollte die benutzerdefinierte Installation gewählt werden und man die entsprechenden Zusatzprogramme abwählen. Ansonsten bekommt man noch ein paar zusätzliche Programme installiert.
