DSpeech is a text-to-speech program with the option of saving the output to a variety of formats, great for creating audio books from text sources. It also supports dynamically changing the features of the voices eg. insert pauses, emphasize specific words, spell them out etc. using tags.

The program can import text from TXT, DOC, DOCX, RTF, HTML, XML, and PDF and output to MP3, OGG, AAC, WMA.

DSpeech works out-of-the-box on WinXP and above because the Microsoft speech engine SAPI5 is included by default. For WinNT/2K, you will need to install the speech engine separately. You will find links to plugins, speech engines and voice sets on the program website.

DShutdown is a stand-alone program that allows you to easily shutdown and wake up local or remote PCs, with many specific options.

DShutdown supports more than just standard shutdown options, there are options relating to "pure" shutdown (such as the "force after wait" option which causes a forced, but 'clear' shutdown). There are monitoring options that allow you to shutdown a PC after a particular application terminates (useful at the end of compressing several files). There are also options to shutdown a PC when Internet traffic reduces below a particular data-rate (useful to shutdown a PC when it has finished a large download).

FreeMove lets you move an installation folder somewhere else without breaking it.

FreeMove is portable and about as simple to use as it gets. Browse to select the "move from" directory and then the "To" directory and click "Move." The only current option is to set the original folder hidden, but there's not much need for a bunch of options.

- filtering is done based on the existence of the search string in the favorites name (only) in all menus and submenus

Shared menus
- complete rewrite of Shared menus file locking (reservation to avoid conflicting changes by simultaneous users)
- when opening the add/edit favorite dialog box, QAP checks if the favorites belongs to a Shared menu and displays a message if the menu is read-only, locked (reserved) by another user or if it was changed since QAP was launched
- when saving a favorite (or when moving a favorite using arrows in Settings, or when adding a separator or a column break), QAP checks if the favorites belongs to a Shared menu and, if yes, checks if the shared menu was locked or modified since the dialog box was opened and, if yes, displays a message
- after a favorite in a shared menu is saved in QAP "internal" memory, QAP locks (reserves) the shared menu file until the changes in shared menu are actualy saved to the settings file QuickAccessPopup.ini, preventing other users from editing this shared menu
- QAP display "Read-only" in the Settings window's content column and prevent opening this menu in the Settings window if it is saved in a folder where the user has no write access and for shared menus of type "Centralized" where user does not have write-access for this menu
- when creating a Shared menu of type "Centralized", QAP automatically adds the current username to the write-access list (preventing the user to be locked out of its own new menu)
- in "Centralized" Shared menus write-access list, names can also be separated by semicolon (in addition to comma)
- a shared menu cannot be added under another shared menu
- QAP now supports Shared menu file locking when changes are done using the "Manage icons" window
- in Settings window column labeled "Content", QAP now displays the Shared menu settings file location

DropIt is a simple floating target image on your desktop you can drag-and-drop files onto to quickly process them with a predefined action. It supports 12 different actions: move, copy, compress, extract, rename, delete, open with, create list, create playlist, create shortcut, copy to clipboard, ignore. A destination can be chosen for each association defined, as well as group associations in different profiles.

The program allows to create rules based on file name, extension, location, size, date and/or regular expressions. For existing files in destination folders can be defined if overwrite, skip or rename them.
