Listary is an enhancement that allows you to quickly search almost any listing in Windows by simply typing your search terms. The program will pop up a small, semi-transparent window in Explorer windows (including open/save dialogs), Task Manager, Registry Editor, and even directly on your desktop. The program works with almost any application with a system-generated list.

Although some programs will automatically jump to the first letter you type (a find-as-you-type feature of Windows Explorer), you must type quickly for more than one letter and cannot see your output. Listary brings a long-time feature of Linux to Windows, letting you enter whole words, and type slower with automatic changes. Additionally, it allows wildcards and has the ability to edit your input with immediate results.

Advanced features include hotkeys, autocomplete, blacklists, favorites, a customizable window. Note that the program contains many "pro"-only features, but the program is very functional in its basic version.

Immersive Explorer is designed to be an alternative to the default file explorer included in Windows (known as Windows Explorer). Although it is not a Windows 8 "Metro application", it is designed around the "Metro" user interface guidelines. It will be optimised for touch-screens, but will offer a great experience for desktop users too (with features like scroll-to-zoom, keyboard navigation). It uses graphical hardware acceleration to display fluid animations and transitions, making it look more modern than the default GDI-based Windows file explorer.

T3Desk ist ein gelungener Fenstermanager, der die Aero-Peek-Funktion von Windows 7 unterstützt.

Arbeiten Sie oft mit vielen Fenster und sind es leid diese zwecks Übersicht ständig minimieren zu müssen? Das Fenstermanagement von Windows 7 ist gut, aber lang nicht perfekt. T3Desk zeigt, dass es noch übersichtlicher geht, ohne dabei Einbuße bei der Optik zu machen.

Der Fenstermanager unterstützt verschiedene Tastenkombinationen. Beispielsweise werden alle geöffneten Fenster mit einem Druck auf "Strg + Umschalt + <" minimiert. Die Fenster verschwinden aber nicht wie gewohnt in der Taskleiste, sondern werden in den Desktop "gesaugt" und sind dort, je nach eingestellterter Transparenz, mehr oder weniger auffällig zu vernehmen.

Zur besseren Übersicht kann optional der Fenstertitel dezent neben dem "minimierten" Fenster angezeigt werden. Ausserdem verschwinden die Programm-Icons aus der Taskleiste, sofern sie mit T3Desk minimiert werden. Fährt man über das Icon von T3Desk, werden alle Fenster als Taskleisten-Thumbnail angezeigt.

Fazit: T3Desk verbindet geschickt Funktionalität mit einem ansprechenden und übersichtlichen Fenstermanagement. Vor allem Nutzer, die mit vielen geöffneten Fenstern arbeiten, sollten T3Desk einmal ausprobieren.
