QuickTextPaste ist ein kleines Programm, das Ihnen ermöglicht, auf die Schnelle vordefinierte Texte in Programmen per Windows Tastenkombination einzufügen.

Der Sinn des Programms liegt darin, dass man diverse Texte, die man sehr oft benötigt, wie z.B. die Emailadresse, hinter einem bestimmten Tastenkürzel hinterlegen und jederzeit aufrufen kann, somit vermeidet man bei längeren Emails oder Texten Zeit und vermeidet Tippfehler.

Mit dem Programm kann man auch Textauswahlfelder per Tastenkürzel aufrufen, oder sogar Programme starten.

Smart Duplicate Finder helps track down similar files either to delete extras and save space or to compare versions. While most duplicate-searching programs are looking for exact copies, SDF uses a Percentage Search, allowing you to adjust the percentage difference required for a file to be considered a duplicate. Once scanned, the program will display the number of bytes which differ as well as the specific percentage match between files.

This is useful for example with metadata: when Windows Image Import tool downloads pictures from your digital camera, additional XML data is inserted into the images and video files, including a timestamp of when the image was downloaded to the computer. Although the image is identical in every way to its original, the file will appear as unique. SDF can detect these files and help remove them.

So, kleiner Tipp zum Feierabend für alle, die ihren Rechner per Kontextmenü herunterfahren wollen. Einfach dieses Paket herunterladen und entpacken. Dann die Windows Registry-Datei “Add Turn Off Options” ausführen und importieren. Diese sorgt dafür, dass ihr euren Windows PC (egal ob mit Windows 7 oder Windows 8 ) per Kontextmenü in einen der verschiedenen Ruhezustände bringen könnt.

Sollte diese Funktion nicht mehr benötigt werden, einfach die Datei “Remove Turn Off Options” ausführen, um das Menü wieder zu entfernen. Muss man nicht haben, ist nur etwas für die ganz Faulen Die Zustände werden bei euch in der deutschen Sprache angezeigt, bei mir ist es in der englischen, da ich ein solches System derzeit nutze.
