FolderTimeUpdate is a simple tool for Windows that scans all files and folders under the base folder you choose, and updates the 'Modified Time' of every folder according the latest modified time of the files stored in it.
This tool might be useful if, for example, you backup a cluster of folders and then restore them into another disk, but the backup program doesn't restore the original modified time of the folders.

UltraSearch instantly searches thousands of files almost instantly. Searches narrow as they are typed, as well as with wildcards such as "*.exe". Additional information like file size and last change date are present, as well as access to Explorer's own context menu. You can exclude folders, files, or file-types by providing an "exclude" filter and results can be exported as text, RTF, HTML, CSV and Excel file, or printed.

The program works with NTFS-formatted drives to search without needing to first create an index. The program works directly with a feature of the file system called the Master File Table to give results on thousands of files almost instantly.

    Searching for file content now returns results when searching for sentences with commas or brackets.
    An error in the search with regular expressions has been fixed. To be able to use reserved characters of the search syntax such as brackets, commas or spaces in the search term, the search term must be enclosed in quotation marks.     The input of Japanese characters and words in syllabic script now works correctly.
    When exporting to Excel, hyperlinks are now created in the export file for all exported file paths. Previously, only the first 65530 paths were hyperlinked due to a limitation of the Excel format.
    If the program is started by Autostart with Windows or minimized to the system tray when closed, it now informs the user in the notification area of the taskbar about the shortcut that can be used to bring the program back to the foreground.

A minor adjustment to the way CustomMenu determines whether a CTRL/SHIFT/ALT key is down when the desktop is right-clicked, in an attempt to ascertain why on [at least] one Windows 11 machine, right-clicking the desktop activates the normal Windows menu rather than CustomMenu, when CustomMenu is clearly running in the system tray. If you have this issue, please let me know in Discussions as I can't [currently] replicate this problem in my own Windows 11 VM.

Balabolka is a feature-rich program to read text aloud from a variety of file types including DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML. The program uses Microsoft's own Speech API 4 and 5, but lets you fine tune various voice parameters, including rate and pitch, and a substitution list can also be applied to improve the quality of the voice's articulation. The program supports customized font and background color, skins, control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys.

Balabolka can also save the synchronized text to external LRC files or in MP3 tags inside the audio files. When the audio file is played with players on a computer or on modern digital audio players, the text will be displayed synchronously (in the same way as lyrics for songs).
