DSpeech is a text-to-speech program with the option of saving the output to a variety of formats, great for creating audio books from text sources. It also supports dynamically changing the features of the voices eg. insert pauses, emphasize specific words, spell them out etc. using tags.

The program can import text from TXT, DOC, DOCX, RTF, HTML, XML, and PDF and output to MP3, OGG, AAC, WMA.

DSpeech works out-of-the-box on WinXP and above because the Microsoft speech engine SAPI5 is included by default. For WinNT/2K, you will need to install the speech engine separately. You will find links to plugins, speech engines and voice sets on the program website.

ClickMonitorDDC kann durch Benutzen des DDC-Protokolls Helligkeit und Kontrast von externen Monitoren (DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA) über das Monitor-Kabel ändern. Hierzu muss beim Monitor DDC/CI-Protokoll aktiviert sein (was meist automatisch der Fall ist) und des weiteren ein voll funktionsfähiger Grafiktreiber installiert sein. Darüber hinaus muss der Monitor MCCS (VESA Monitor Control Command Set) unterstützen, allerdings gibt es Unterschiede in der MCCS-Implementierung, so daß manche Befehle eventuell nicht unterstützt werden, insbesondere wird das Anwählen von Farb-Profilen oder Eingängen oftmals nicht vollständig unterstützt, auch bieten manche Monitore spezielle vordefinierte Film oder Spiele-Modi an, die das Verändern mancher Werte verhindern.
