Vagrant fasst alles, was Entwickler benötigen, in einer virtuellen Entwicklungsumgebung zusammen, was Entwicklern das Leben deutlich vereinfachen soll. Webentwickler müssen beispielsweise keine Infrastrukturkomponenten mehr einrichten oder sich um Abhängigkeiten Gedanken machen.

Das von Mitchell Hashimoto und John Bender 2010 initiierte Projekt Vagrant macht die Zusammenstellung virtueller Maschinen für Entwickler deutlich einfacher. Mit wenigen Handgriffen lassen sich virtuelle Maschinen mit allen benötigten Komponenten erstellen, die dann das gesamte Team nutzen kann, so dass alle mit exakt den gleichen Bibliotheken und Infrastrukturkomponenten in identischen Versionen arbeiten.

Vagrant basiert auf Oracles freier Virtualisierungslösung Virtualbox und nutzt Chef und Puppet, um die virtuellen Maschinen einzurichten. Gesteuert wird das Ganze über sogenannte Vagrantfiles.

Vagrant läuft unter Windows, Linux und Mac OS X, die eigentliche Entwicklungsumgebung wurde unter Ubuntu Linux umgesetzt. Es stehen aber auch sogenannte Basisboxen mit Arch Linux, Debian, Fedora, FreeBSD, Gentoo, Redhat, Solaris und Suse bereit.

Cppcheck is an analysis tool for C/C++ code. Unlike C/C++ compilers and many other analysis tools, we don't detect syntax errors. Cppcheck only detects the types of bugs that the compilers normally fail to detect.

- It is no longer necessary to run "--check-config" to get detailed "missingInclude" and "missingIncludeSystem" messages. They will always be issued in the regular analysis if "missingInclude" is enabled.
- "missingInclude" and "missingIncludeSystem" are reported with "-j" is > 1 and processes are used in the backend (default in non-Windows binaries)
- "missingInclude" and "missingIncludeSystem" will now cause the "--error-exitcode" to be applied
- "--enable=information" will no longer implicitly enable "missingInclude" starting with 2.16. Please enable it explicitly if you require it.
- The `constParameter` and `constVariable` checks have been split into 3 different IDs based on if the variable is a pointer, a reference, or local. The different IDs will allow users to suppress different const warning based on variable type.

Alacritty is a modern terminal emulator that comes with sensible defaults, but allows for extensive configuration. By integrating with other applications, rather than reimplementing their functionality, it manages to provide a flexible set of features with high performance. The supported platforms currently consist of BSD, Linux, macOS and Windows.

The software is considered to be at a beta level of readiness; there are a few missing features and bugs to be fixed, but it is already used by many as a daily driver.

Changed COM method and property calls to pass large integers as VT_I8, not VT_R8 (floating-point), so the original type and precision is retained. Integers in the 32-bit range are still passed as VT_I4.

Added support for two-variable enumerators (for-loops) with IDispatch-wrapped AutoHotkey objects. Both the script invoking the object and the object itself must be running a supported AutoHotkey version.

Added support for ByRef VARIANT in incoming COM calls. Instead of receiving a ComObject wrapper with the VT_BYREF|VT_VARIANT variant type, the script receives a temporary variable compatible with a normal ByRef parameter.

Changelog

    Fixed an issue with hotkeys not firing due to a race condition. If a modifier hotkey such as ~*RWin:: called Send or GetKeyState too soon, the OS could report that RWin isn't down, so the hook's modifier state would be "corrected" and hotkeys would wrongly fire or fail to fire. This was likely to occur only if another keyboard hook was installed more recently than the script's own hook, since in that case the OS would not update key state until the other hook's thread has resumed and returned.
    Fixed hotstrings to use the Last Found Window set by #If.
    Fixed MouseGetPos, ControlClick, ContextMenu Gui events and DropFile Gui events erroneously detecting a control at a specific point which actually lies one pixel below or to the right of the control.
    Fixed an issue where any attempt to reinstall the keyboard or mouse hook would fail if the OS had automatically uninstalled the hook. It is still necessary to meet certain conditions before any such attempt can be made.
