DiRSync is a lightweight tool that mirrors a folder to another directory. This means that instead of manually moving a folder to another location you also want to be sanitized, it might take you some time, especially if you have to repeat the process. The program could prove handy with data transfers over a network, or to various locations, locally or online.

Sofern eingestellt, sichert BackUp Maker automatisch (entweder zeitgesteuert, oder z.B. bei der Windows-An- oder Abmeldung.Die Sicherung kann gesplittet, gepackt (ZIP-Format) und verschlüsselt (256-Bit / AES) werden.Als Sicherungsziel können USB-Platten, Netzwerk,  FTP-Server oder sonstige Laufwerke ausgewählt werden - auch ein direktes Brennen auf CD/DVD ist möglich.Möchte man Backups von verschiedenen Zeitpunkten haben, können auch mehrere Backup-Generationen angelegt werden.

Nach der Installation startet das Programm automatisch mit und öffnet ein Fenster.
Wer dieses Verhalten abschalten möchte, muss dazu in die Aufgabenplanung gehen.

    Log format was changed to text, because in Linux browser cannot open html files located outside of Download folder. And this folder is not a good choice for logs. Since statuses of backups are calculated based on logs location, it will be undefined until next backup.

With DiskCopy, you can perform MBR to GPT and GPT to MBR by choosing the target disk's partition style without being the same as the source. CopyDisk is always bootable, meaning the target disk can be rendered bootable even if your source disk isn't.

CopyDisk allows you to select a specific partition for copying, making the process faster. It also allows single partition cloning, so you can clone one directly to another with the option to make it bootable. For such a small utility, CopyDisk packs some power but keeps its interface pretty much foolproof. Detailed instructions are available at the author's site.
