Titel: Cameyo - Einfache Softwarevirtualisierung unter Windows

Cameyo erzeugt aus installierten Anwendungen portable Versionen. Dazu kapselt die kostenlose Software die entsprechenden Daten in einer Art virtuellen Maschine ab. Solche Pakete sind anschließend portabel und ohne Installation auf anderen Windows-PCs lauffähig.

Zunächst erstellt Cameyo einen so genannten Snapshot des Systems, merkt sich also ganz genau den aktuellen Systemzustand. Anschließend installiert man die gewünschte Anwendung und teilt dies abschließend Cameyo mit. Die Freeware macht einen Vorher-Nachher-Vergleich des Systems und erzeugt aus den neu hinzugekommenen Daten eine entsprechende autonom lauffähige virtuelle Maschine.

Fazit

Mit Cameyo stellt man ohne großen Aufwand portable Versionen nahezu beliebiger Anwendungen her. Wer oft dieselbe Software auf mehreren PCs installieren und einrichten muss, dürfte sich mit Cameyo einiges an Arbeit sparen. Nichtsdestotrotz sei zu bedenken, dass Cameyo nicht wirklich an hoch professionelle Virtualisierungslösungen heran reicht. Für den Hausgebrauch ist das Programm aber völlig ausreichend.
