Ich wusste doch das ich schon was darüber gelesen hab und ich dachte es wäre hier im Board gewesen... Leider ist das von MS (http://research.microsoft.com/netres/projects/virtualwifi/software.htm) verschwunden oder der Link ist falsch (Syrabert?). Hab dann noch jenes hier (http://www.win7blog.at/vwifi-virtuelles-wlan/) ausgegraben. Das Programm hab ich mal gesaugt, werds im laufe des Tages mal installieren.

jaa, genau dieses prog (connectix) hatte ich gemeint ::) Und es soll noch ein anderes prog geben, das ähnliche dinge vollbringt. beide progs sollen hardware unabhängig funktionieren, wobei die im blog genannte version derzeit nur mit bestimmten karten funktioniert. Übrigens hier bitte auch aufpassen: die win-eigene firewall scheint solche massnahmen derzeit noch nicht zu unterstützen, könnte allso pasieren , das das virtuelle lan ungeschützt ist.
und in sachen link: schau ich gleich mal, wo MS den nun schon wieder hingepackt hat. Danke für den hinweis.

versuch mal MSRMesh-VirtualWIFI dassollte auch mit xp und vista funktionieren.
hab es aber noch nie getestet. link ist unter http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/994abd5f-53d1-4dba-a9d8-8ba1dcccead7/ zu finden oder einfach mal bei ms research die suche benutzen link zu ms research ist "research.microsoft.com" , dort gibt es auch ein paar englische FAQ

Sehr schade an sich. Hab ja eine Intel Wifi Link 4965AGN und hab mir auch die neusten Treiber für Win7Pro 32bit geholt. Aber ich bekomm den Adapter nicht. Und ohne den Adapter keine Tests... Schade, vor allem da anscheinend meine Karte unterstützt werden könnte/sollte...
Wäre eben nett, in der Bib darf ich nur 1xRechner über meinen Account ins Netz lassen (gleichzeitig) und so wäre der Rechner online und würde ans iphone routen...

hmm, was heist: "bekomme den adapter nicht?" - welche fehlermeldung? und die neuesten treiber - von MS oder von intel ? versuch mal die von intel, die sind meist etwas neuer als die von ms (und haben meist alle features).
ansonsten, wenn du die folgende meldung bekommst

Die Gruppe oder Ressource haben für diesen Vorgang nicht den richtigen Zustand.
dann liegt es am kartentreiber.oder an den einstellungen deiner Karte du könntest es dann mal mit connectify versuchen, angeblich benutzen die ein etwas anderes verfahren, das am treiberproblem vorbeigeht Kann letzteres aber nicht überprüfen, info kam von kollegen. zusätzlicher tip von ihm: mal nachsehen, ob der adapter auf automatische erkennung AP oder ad-hoc steht. das muss fest auf einen wert stehen. Und noch ein tip: das erstellen des Vwifi funktioniert mit den boardmittel scheint nur zu funktionieren, wenn der wifi adapter aktiv ist, du solltest das dann im Bib austesten

Also auf dem von mir verlinkten Blog sieht man ja diese Verbindung #2 "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport". Und genau dieser kommt nicht, obwohl der Inteltreiber es unterstützen sollte. Also was heißt kommt nicht, ich mein er ist nicht da. Ich kann den ja nicht installieren oder? Der müsste von Win7 aus erscheinen oder?
Wenn ich aber über cmd das eingebe "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid="Win7 virtual WiFi" key="2lOb93kqZV2R"" kommt:

Also genau so als würde es gehen. Aber das netzwerk ist nicht zu finden, wird denke ich also auch nicht erstellt.

da weiss ich jetzt auch nicht mehr weiter, denn normalerweise solltest du den adapter sehen. denn er ist ja erfolgreich erstellt worden. muss mich schlau machen, mal sehen ob es da irgendwo ne lösung gibt. hmm, kollege meint grade: das ist ja nur win7 pro, das ist eventuell nur ne abgespeckte version, die das nicht kann - jetzt besorg ich mir ne wlan-karte und teste das selbst aus. sollte die vermutung stimmen, wirds mal wieder in seatle sehr laut ;D

Danke Syra bist der Beste! hab hier (http://blogs.technet.com/dmelanchthon/archive/2009/09/24/virtual-wifi-macht-windows-7-zum-access-point.aspx)nochmal nen technetblog in dem steht das an sich meine Karte unterstützt werden sollte. Und die Meldung der CMD (wie du ja auch sagst) sind ja positiv, oder wenigstens NICHT negativ ;-) Die Frage ist eben nur, warum erscheint der Adapter nicht.
Danke das du "spielen" gehst und mal schaust an was es liegen kann.

frage wegen dem test: ist das bei dir ein 32-bit oder 64 bit system?

Was sagt die netshell zu deinen adapter: "netsh wlan show hostednetwork:", ist das netz gestarted?
falls es noch nicht gestartet ist, bitte nochmals "netsh wlan start hostednetwork" eingeben, dann sollte das vwfi zu sehen sein.
aeh: du hast doch sicher auch VOR dem start deinen realen wifi adapter freigegeben?
falls nicht, bitte nachholen : rechtsklick auf den adapter und unter sharing die beiden klick bei "erlaube anderen usern bla, bla" setzen. danach nochmals das vwifi starten.
( den start pack dir am besten in eine batch, du brauchst das sehr oft, z. b. nach jeden hibernate oder standby)

also auf deutsch: 4965 ist nicht unterstützt, und stabil läuft es dann warscheinlich erst auf nen x64 system.

Tja dann trotz alledem vielen Dank für die MÜHE!!! Einen besseren Support gibt es nicht! Ok, der Rechner hat jetzt im Herbst sein 3tes Jahr aufm Buckel (Steuer), sein drittes OS, eine neue HDD. Dazu finden die Monitor-Scharniere die Transporte nicht 100% gut, das DVD-Laufwerk ist zu 50% hinüber (siehe anderen Thread) und naja, spiele laufen auch nur noch semi ;-)
Alles in allem hört sich das doch nach nem neuen Rechner in absehbarer Zeit an. Die Frage ist dann nur noch, ein ausflug ins MBP-Land oder doch bei den bekannten Problemen bleiben, die man seit DOS-Zeiten kennt und liebt ;-)
Damit ist dieses Thema wohl zu... Syra, willst du uns nicht in einem anderen Thread was neues von dir, deinem Leben und deiner Arbeit zZ erzählen? ;-)

Viele Wege führen bekanntlich nach Rom. Aber mal von vorne anfangen. Ab und an kann es nützlich sein, sein WLAN mit anderen zu teilen. Dies könnte der Fall sein, wenn man selber zwar über einen UMTS-Stick verfügt, der Kollege aber nicht. Hier könnte man ganz einfach sein Wireless LAN teilen, damit der Kollege auch surfen kann.

Oder man hat nur einen normalen Router ohne LAN und der daran angeschlossene PC könnte mittels WLAN-Karte den Server spielen. In diesen genannten Beispielen könnte die kostenlose Software Virtual Router (http://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/) zum Einsatz kommen.
Virtual Router (ab Windows 7 Home Premium, also kein Starter) baut aus eurer vorhandenen WLAN-Verbindung einen virtuellen Router, der standardmäßig mit WPA2 verschlüsselt ist. Das Passwort (bzw. der WPA2-Key) kann von euch selbst gesetzt werden und muss mindestens acht Stellen haben.

Alternativen zur Software? Klar, gibt es. Connectify. Oder eben das integrierte Wifi von Windows 7: Virtual Wifi. Ist aber nicht so schön einfach wie Virtual Router und Co. Sicherlich wird man Virtual Router nicht häufig benötigen, aber es ist immer gut, Software im Hinterkopf zu haben…

Kurztipp : Virtual WiFi Router 2 (http://www.virtualwifirouter.com/) zaubert zum Beispiel aus eurem kabelgebundenen Netzwerk ein WLAN, sofern der am Kabelnetz hängende Client über WLAN verfügt. Alternativ könnt ihr euch auch so einen UMTS-Zugang teilen. Quasi eine easy zu bedienende Software als Alternative zu Connectify oder Virtual Router.

Wer es gerne kompliziert mag: Windows 7 hat auch eine solche Funktion eingebaut, aber glaubt mir: ihr wollt lieber eine der hier genannten Freeware-Lösungen nutzen ;)

Wo hast du nur immer deine Infos her?!? Ich suche mir in den letzten Wochen und Monaten einen Wolf nach solchen Lösungen und stoße immer wieder nur auf die zwei gleichen, die bei mir immer nur sporadisch funktionieren (Virtual Router Manager) oder die ganze Zeit nerven, wenn man sie nicht braucht (Connectify).
