Version 3.47.02 adds the "don't remind me again" checkbox to the activation dialog boxes.
Version 3.47.03 makes the silent activation retry a few times, over two minutes, before switching to visible activation. My thinking is that your Internet connectivity might not be fully set up by the time the silent activation wants to do its job.
Version 3.48 introduces a new licensing system, but does not include any other major changes to functionality.
In version 3.57.02, some Sandboxie Control dialog boxes can now be minimized. Applies to the dialog boxes: Sandbox Settings, Delete Contents, Quick Recovery, Immediate Recovery, Messages from Sandboxie. These dialog boxes will also have a button (or icon) in the taskbar.
Additionally, when the Quick Recovery dialog box appears automatically for a sandbox (and obviously, thte auto-delete setting is enabled), the taskbar button/icon will flash until the window gets attention.
In version 3.57.03,
- The Immediate Recovery dialog is a bit more spaced, and includes a button to select all files shown, which is equivalent to using the Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut.
- If the Shift key is held while clicking any of the Recover buttons (either in Quick Recovery or Immediate Recovery), the recovery will automatically overwrite any existing files without prompting.
I realize this seems less optimal than having a "Yes to All" button, but recovery moves files on a file-by-file basis, creating non-existing directories as it goes along, and a "Yes to All" button can only appear when the move operaton is invoked for a group of files.
I considered changing the recovery to work on a group of files, but this means creating all the directories in advance, which could be a slight problem in case the recovery is actually cancelled during one of those "Overwriting/Rename/Cancel" pop up prompts. And further, when a group move operation is canceled, Windows pretends the operation was successful. So eventually I decided to go for the simpler approach with the Shift key.
- A new Recovery Log command in the View menu displays a log of recent recoveries, with the most recent recovery showing at the top. In my experience, sometimes I mis-click in the list of folders in the lower half of the Immediatet Recovery window, and then I have to look around to see where the file actually went. So this Recovery Log should help to locate the file quickly.
Version 3.57.06 replaces the Files and Folders View with a new list that looks more or less the same but should offer some improved usability.
Major changes are:
- One sandbox displayed at a time, with a button to switch between sandboxes. The reason is that if you expanded more than one sandbox hierarchy in the older model, the list becomes too large and unmanageable.
- More spaces between lines for easier readability.
- Icons are displayed for files in the sandbox.
- Can select more than one file/folder at a time for recovery.
Quick Recovery windows (including the one in the Delete Contents of Sandbox window) use the Files and Folders View internally, so all the changes above apply to Quick Recovery as well.

There are no code changes in 5.10 RC. We are releasing 5.10 quickly due to many users' concern about the confusing SHA1 certificate warnings issued by IE 11 and Windows 10 when installing Sandboxie 5.08.
Installers re-released with the following regression fix: #1468 (https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/issues/1468)
