Free UPX allows you to compress/decompress EXE, DLL, OCX, BPL, CPL and other files. It offers easy access to all documented and undocumented UPX parameters without the need for command-line usage.

The program is an advanced graphical interface for the UPX (Ultimate Packer for eXecutables). It uses the Microsoft Portable Executable and COFF Specification.

A new version of PortableApps.com AppCompactor has been released. It allows you to easily compress applications to decrease size on disk and increase performance when running from slow media like flash drives without affecting functionality. Though intended for developers, some advanced end users may also find it useful. This release updates to the latest 7-Zip and UPX and includes both the 32-bit and 64-bit variants. Note that we no longer use AppCompactor on official uses due to increased false positives in various antivirus products. It's packaged as a portable app, so you can shrink your apps on the go. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

PDF-XChange Editor is a feature-rich PDF viewer and editor with a tabbed interface. The program includes edition of text-based PDFs, OCR of image based/scanned PDF's to fully text-searchable PDFs, full document spellchecking, rotate/crop documents, add comments/annotations to any PDF file, QR codes, and more. You can apply custom stamps from any image/PDF file/Windows clipboard, mark-up pages with text and objects, and add/edit hyperlinks.

The program supports export to text or image (BMP/JPEG/TIFF/PNG etc.).

Note: The free PDF-XChange Editor lacks some features present in the registered version (payware). Some "Pro" features noted with with a shopping cart icon can be used, but add a watermark upon saving.
