MPV-EASY Player is a tool based on mpv, a small video player that enables you to view a wide variety of movie files. Unlike mpv, the application comes with an interface that makes managing files and videos considerably simpler. In addition, the utility provides you with comprehensive setting options so that you can take advantage of the full potential of this open source video player.

Thanks to the completely improved algorithm, the pseudo-Gaussian blur is changed from the original one-way adjustment to the two-way non-linear adjustment. The display effect supports a much larger range of changes than before, and the supported adjustment range is much larger than before, and the effect is better than before. (Adjusted through [Settings]-[Imitation Gaussian Blur]-[Effect] settings).

A noise layer is added to the Gaussian Blur to provide a more realistic frosted glass effect.

Improved the sorting algorithm for natural sorting of playlists by file name. Now 2 different sorting algorithms can be used at the same time:

Enable [Sorting Algorithm 1]: When multiple files are added using [Drag and Drop] or [Open File...], the playlist is naturally sorted by file name in the same order as in Windows File Explorer by default (use these 2 again) This sorting can be reproduced in a way of adding).

Improved the visibility of the mini progress bar. Now the mini progress bar has much better visibility in both white and black video backgrounds.

Through optimization, the processor usage is lower when the pseudo-Gaussian blur is activated. When 60fps is used, the processor usage is changed from about 6% to 4%-6%, and only the mouse movement and the peak value will reach 6%.

Now the default frame rate of Gaussian blur is changed to 35 frames, so as to provide smoother and lower delay changes without consuming more CPU than before.

Improved the authenticity of the pseudo-Gaussian blur, and fixed the problem that the colors on the left and right sides of the osc and the background color are not close enough and inconsistent with the background color due to the excessive color abandonment.

MPC-HC (Media Player Classic Home Cinema) is an Open Source media player that supports most video and audio file formats.

MPC-HC was designed to play every available format, but not just for fancy, high-end rigs, but also for older computers and processors going back to Windows 2000.

    Some improvements for subtitle selection and language name display for the rare situation where a language does not have a LCID.
    Some optimizations to the filter graph builder. This should speed up file loading in some situations.
    The player now reloads the video file when resumed after hibernate or very long pause (> 30 min). This is done as a workaround for driver bugs. It will remember playback position and track selection.
    DVB improvement: It now stores the symbol rate for scanned channels.
    Added support for wildcards in filenames in M3U playlists.

Fixes:

    Fixed subtitles being early by a few frames with VMR9 renderer.
    Fixed a subtitle parsing issue for files that contained 4-byte UTF-8 characters (such as emojis). Those are handled properly now.
    Fixed an issue with drag&drop of a folder onto the playlist window.
