Boot-US ist ein universeller Bootmanager. Er erlaubt Ihnen, alle Ihre vorhandenen Betriebssysteme auf einfache Weise vollständig unabhängig voneinander zu nutzen. Die Installation klappt einfach und komfortabel von der Windowsoberfäche.

Grub2Win supports 64 and 32 bit EFI and BIOS on Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista and XP. Safely dual boot Windows and Linux. Grub2Win boots native, open source GNU grub version 2.02 code. Everything is contained in a single 14 MB directory on your Windows C: drive. On EFI systems a few small modules (about one half MB total) will be installed to your EFI partition.

Using the simple Windows GUI and instructions you can install Grub2Win quickly and safely. Boot time messages and help can be displayed in your native language. Select from a nearly unlimited number of OS choices. Samples for Remix, Android, Ubuntu, Debian, Suse, Fedora, Mint, BSD and Windows are included. You can enter your own custom commands for each menu entry.

Release Notes

Make UEFI only options and BIOS/CMS only options clear.

If you boot in UEFI mode you are not able to chainload partitions (Operating systems installed in BIOS mode). Now we make that fact clear by prepending BIOS-BOOT-REQUIRED to these entries. Same thing applies in the reverse case. If you boot in BIOS mode you are not able to load EFI files (Operating systems installed in UEFI mode). Now we make that fact clear by prepending UEFI-BOOT-REQUIRED to these entries. If you insist on booting those entries Super Grub2 Disk refuses to boot them and explains why.

New option: Chainload directly /ntldr or /bootmgr.

(Note this new option will only work in BIOS/CSM mode). This option chainloads Windows’ ntldr or Windows’ bootmgr. It should be useful if you have somehow corrupted your Windows partition boot record. It might also be useful if you clone Windows into another hard disk and it refuses to boot.

DPMS.ISO has been removed, you can download and add it manually if needed.

Changelog

Established a new directory called C:grub2userfiles.
The userfiles directory is initially empty. You can store any files you desire for customization, documentation, cfg files, utilities etc.
When you install a new release of Grub2Win, any files stored in the userfiles directory will be migrated to the new directory intact.

Enhanced the bootinfo utilities:

Support was added for scanning CD drives.
Serveral other fixes and new features were added.

Release Notes

Updated grub 2.02 build to tag: 2.02~rc1 . This is the release candidate for final stable 2.02 upstream Grub release. Please use this build to give them (upstream Grub) feedback on this version. It’s advised to ask here before reporting to them so that we discard the bug being a Super Grub2 Disk specific one.
We are going to see which are the complete Super Grub2 Disk features with a demo video, where you can download it, the thank you – hall of fame and some thoughts about the Super Grub2 Disk development.
