Shark's MediaInfo Tool is a free app that can supply technical and tag information about a video or audio file.

Shark's MediaInfo Tool gives you three ways to open and analyze your media files.
Double-click the shortcut, and the open file dialog will wait for you to select a media file.
Right-click on a media file and use the Send to dialog.
Drag-and-drop a media file to your Desktop shortcut.

Once completed, all of the info will appear in a text document, which you can save if you like.
